This is a summary of some observations and techniques I have used to progress in my own life.
Non-Judgemental Self-Awareness
For awhile now, I have been doing my best to let go of judgements on others and instead discriminate/observe them/their actions as undesirable to my goals/life.
And recently, I have been observing and letting go of judgments I place on myself, especially surrounding bad habits.
Yes it is important and vital to care about them and do something about them, but berating oneself may not be the best way.
Is it not fugged up... to salt the wound, by engaging in a not so healthy practice and then pile on some self-loathing?
So rather, I decided to embrace and indulge some of my persistent habits (for instance- obsessively scouring dating sites to get nudes, actually am pretty good at that, tempted to write up a how-to but, I recommend NOT getting caught up in that lol) and issues while also observing myself carefully. Obviously meditation and its techniques help with this.
I have learned a few things. For one I end up actually reaching a point of "having my fill," but that is short lived and serves as merely a launch pad to kicking the habit (this probably is not the case with every bad habit.) You're not quite out of its orbit just yet and need to spread your galactic eagle wings and fly out the last stretch into SpaceZone yourself.
Another thing is I feel much better. Less negative thoughts and energy bogging me down.
This self awareness has taught me many many other things everything from how my body feels working out to communicating better with others.
Focus
Focus is something I have just realized I am starting to lack. Its not just me. People everywhere are losing it along with discipline. These go hand in hand. One problem is doing TOO MANY THINGS. Which was my problem. Now that I have done a life over haul, I have less on my plate and can chew up my goals with less energy yet proper attention needed to actually get it done and over with. I recommend, if you are having issues with focus too, is prioritize 3 things that you will focus on and only on until they are done.
You must however make sure that there is no-prerequisites for your goal. Ideally the goals will stack on themselves.
For instance my priorities are my band, school and health. After my health is settled, I plan on tackling game again with renewed focus that I now will have with this regimen. After school or band plays out I plan on traveling.
There is flexibility in this, but the main idea is that less is more. Focus on one thing at a time so you can get it done and move on to the next thing and get that done too.
Holistic Growth
The next last bit of observing my growth is that I have noticed when I tie up loose ends in my life I tend to do better in other areas. For instance I do my best with girls when I am working out, have a good hair cut, have a clean house, doing productive things and refraining from procrastination, eating well and enjoying outdoors or some other non-screen activity.
I had a great first week back at school, approached so many more girls than usual. I had decided to go back to school with determination and new focus. I had great social momentum. Working out and eating regularly. Then the first-week-situating-work-load and snow hit. Then I started letting my car and room get messy. Then I wasn't eating so well. Then I procrastinated. And I was not chatting up any girls. Then I was feeling depressed. Then I downloaded and killed it getting nudes on dating websites (read: engaged in bad habits, it really was effecting me poorly I spent like 8 hours one day using it.) and so on.
As I started to clean up a bit and put myself back together, it felt increasingly easier to keep cleaning up the other areas in my life. I've always looked at health holistically and found great results for myself and now I am applying it on a wider scale and seeing results as well.

Just thought I'd share this with you because doing these things have helped my life and game in many ways from figuring out my life goals to dealing with "approach anxeity" though I don't like calling it that.
