Investment... your best friend and worst enemy

Investment is our best friend, and our worst enemy. He is an ever waivering scale moving with the conversational tides. You must always know where he sits. If you pay close attention he will tell you she is interested. If you lose sight of him, he will fuck you in the ass. Losing sight of investment levels will cause failure, don't do it.

It is a simple concept. The more time you spend thinking about a girl, the more invested you are. The more invested you are the more power she weilds. Okay... I will invest less then her and weild more power then her!

Not so fast...Tip the scale too far and she is gone. It is a push and pull, give and take relationship. A simple concept but there aren't simple solutions.

Well what are some easy ways to manage your investment levels?? Obviously abundance mentality... but thats not "easy" per say. Especially if you have neve had abudance. Here are a couple easy ways to manage your investment levels:

1. When you get a number do not talk about her. Don't tell your bro, don't tell your roommates, don't tell your mom......!

2. don't save her number until after you have been inside of her, or until you decide she has substanially invested.

3. let her be the last person to respond in a text convo... that way you can comfortably intiative conversation withouth overinvesting

4. smiley faces/emoji's are a great way to show interest, but balance in all things don't overdo it.

Great stuff, but do you only mean this one as a rule of thumb? I mean doesn't this make it seem like you're only going to end up with skanks? Don't girls have their pride too?

If I get a girls number, I make sure not to lose it. I might try to act like I don't care, but I(and most of us on this site), do care immensely when it comes to getting a hot gal's number. I'd be more inclined to say the opposite.

No it's merely a tool to use if you find yourself overinvesting in a girl. To help you create balance, you don't want to get caught thinking too much about a girl you just met.

Your icebreaker text should include her name so you should always be able to reference it. I am not saying to delete your text chains, just to not save her number.

Every time you go into your message inbox and see a phone number attached with no name attached it serves as a reminder she is just another girl...nothing special

Actually the objective of most of the guys here is to NOT care. So I would disagree about caring immensely. If you care that much from just getting a phone number your not getting enough. In the grand scheme, a phone number means nothing.

I don't follow. Also, referring to women as skanks is judgmental and counterproductive to seduction.
