Is my Tinder elo screwed up?

I use Tinder Platinum that allows me to see women who matched me without me swiping them first. This is often a repository for tons of women that I don't find attractive. Several months ago, this would fill up daily with fat women etc. I would also get the occasional girl I thought was pretty and I'd match her.

Recently I'm getting almost no matches. But the interesting part of this is that I'm not even getting swipes from any woman, even unattractive ones. Which makes me think that they simply may not be seeing me.

My pictures and other parameters are all the same so I am not sure what the issue could be beyond getting nuked by the algorithm

Tinder absolutely sucks. I recently got a message from them that I had a like. Don't have platinum though so couldn't see who it was. I swiped for a bit and actually got a match. Turns ouot it was a trans girl WTFFFFFF

- are you getting responses from your matches?
- did you enable anonymous mode? (very important!)

If you leave it open, al lot of fat chicks/trans/weirdos will swipe right on your profile.
The AI will think this is the best route for matchmaking and keep showing you only those profiles.
Just try to be anonymous for a while and keep swiping till you match with one or two hotties...it may take a while, but you will see the difference.

Maybe your ELO just got really low?
You also gotta ask yourself how many women are around you, because maybe all the women that could like you (or not) already did. But if you live in a relatively populated area there should be new women joining every week.

I'm not sure how the ELO system works in Tinder, but in my head if you swipe right and they swipe left, you lose points, and the inverse would be true as well (you gain when they like you and you don't like them). If two people match, their ELOs would get closer (like the higher one loses a bit and the lower one gains), and if both dislike each other nothing happens. Of course that's all expeculation since I don't really know the algorithm, but last time I was using it, this was working as I thought it would (I was only liking attractive girls that thought I might have a chance with, and even disliking girls that appeared "high elo" that weren't quite my type, and I was doing pretty well).

In your case you're also pretty much only using Gold/Plat to see who liked you, from what I understand, and (attractive) girls don't even swipe much. So you're expecting them to "approach you", in a sense, when there's tons of guys approaching them. So what I think would make the most difference in your case would be actually liking the girls you find attractive in your area, because it might just be they are not even seeing your profile (if Tinder prioritizes people that like you first, in your swipe queue, and that makes sense, those girls pretty much would only match with guys that liked them first, because they wouldn't be swiping much). @POB suggestion is also a good one, but I think only undesirable people swiping on you might be due to them just having less options, thus having to swipe much more and seeing your profile eventually.

Simple answer: they can identify as a regular woman.
There's no trans option when they ask you for your gender.
Major flaw on most apps...another thing we can thank the woke agenda for.

Never thought tinder had an ELO system... Well the way I do it here in Bali is simply by having platinum and would Like every girl I see to save my time as I only use it as a supplment, all the ugly matches I get will get unmatched or blocked, so I only keep the hot ones.

I've also done some tests and found that you do get punished for it. Your ELO takes a hit and the number of profiles you get shown to are decreased (because nobody wants to swipe right on a 1/10 which is what that level of desperation gives off). I will say though that if your profile is good enough you can still succeed in spite of this, it's just not optimal. Plus, it only takes like 4 seconds to flick through a girls pictures and go yay or nay
