Uni environment. There are 3 girls, and they are not in my social circle. I have a reputation for asking scary tutors questions but also for not being very social and for having few friends which I'm trying to fix. I have some interest in girl 1 and 3.
Girl 1:
In the past: A couple of months ago she saw me talking to another girl, who liked me (but who I eventually sent into auto-reject by pushing my value too high when her attraction seemed to be waning), and then looked away when I noticed. She looked sad and girl 3 hugged her. I noticed that when I started talking to girl 2, girl 1 immediately picked up her phone and played with it, but hanged around.
Now: I was at a social event, whenever I tried to make conversation with her but she avoided eye contact and moved on. She does the same thing whenever I see her at uni. I saw her kissing one of the members of her social circle at one point.
Girl 2:
Past: A couple of months ago she was showing a lot of interest in me, but I wasn't interested. I tried to be friendly, teased her, but didn't move things forward because I didn't want to.
Now: I can no longer get compliance from this girl, and when she is talking to her friends she sometimes pretends she can't see me, but sometimes says hi and acts friendly for a bit. She keeps trying to set up chase frames, which I reject (but I'm thinking I should not do so because now I''m thinking it makes her look rejected). I'd like girls to be friendly with me without me having to move things forward with them, because I want to lose my reputation as a person who isn't sociable, so what should I have done differently with this one?
Girl 3: A couple of months ago she was showing some signs of interest, but I wasn't interested. For a while after that she seemed to avoid eye contact with me, but now I can make simple conversation before she moves on and focuses on other people nearby. I am always the one to start a conversation, never her.
Men in their social circle: At a social event each and every one of them shaked my hand or hugged me and told me that I'm amazing before they moved on. I tried to make conversation with girl 2 but left after a few minutes of the social group ignoring us, and I wasn't getting any useful interest from girl 2 (which I thought would help me with 1 or 3) I moved on and talked to other people. At the same time I'm wondering if girl 1 and 3 won't socialise with me out of loyalty to girl 2, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing or what's happening.
