Ever seen it?

I wouldn't say that the opinions of the hosts and/or the techniques by the contestants are that great (one of the hosts emphasizes the idea of being an alpha male with huge muscles and a big bark), but I find it very entertaining and sometimes inspirational. And a few times, it does make me a little sick in the stomach morally/ethically.

Overall, it's pretty entertaining though. I'm not a clubber myself, so I'm pretty sure that I'd "lose", but still fun to watch haha. I also don't know how much of it is staged or not.

Ya, I saw a few clips from that show on Youtube.

I was really interested in it. However, I find it odd how pickup never took off in main media. It is all confined to the internet. There was the VH1 show with Mystery (it was pretty bad) for two seasons but that was it.

I remember watching the "Cajun" episode when it came out on YouTube... which was gold. I had no idea this was on Hulu, there goes my evening :)
I think it's fun. Some guys I watched haven't great game but have confidence, half the part of any "reality" TV is seeing people be silly and fail so some guys have zero game.

I listened to an AOC podcast with the host Peaches a long time ago. TBH, he comes across like a guy who "gets it". Maybe there's some show boating amongst the hosts but from this and other things I've heard from some of them, they have differing styles but seem like cool guys.

I think that it's still seen as a Taboo in our society/media, and that would explain its lack of success. This is partly due to how the shows are made (forced drama for ratings) and the type of "players" usually selected (most vocal/loud for ratings again). No offense to women, but the highest rated reality shows are primarily targeted towards women: Bachelor/Bachelorette and Dancing with the Stars. Although guys can and do enjoy these shows, women are the primary audience. Maybe reality shows just aren't as popular for male viewers? The stereotype would be sports, but I rarely watch sports. I usually enjoy sitcoms, movies, or w/e is on history/discovery. In contrast to what I said, Duck Dynasty may be a reality show with more male viewership, but I personally do not like the show. I really don't watch that much TV anymore though, as other things have taken priority.

Is the podcast of Peaches on youtube or still available online somewhere?

How do you guys think that you would do on the show?
