If you’re texting a girl pre-lay and accidentally leave her on read mid conversation, aim to respond within 2 days. Waiting longer can make her feel you're not interested.

Responding on the 3rd day after ignoring her is when you'll start running into cold responses...especially from women who like you.

If you have left her on read, and are now getting back to her on the 3rd day, here's what to say to avoid a potential chilly response:

hey summer, sorry to get back to you so late! ive been sick with the flu

Breaking it down, it’s better to address the delay upfront than to continue along the same thread as before. A believable, socially acceptable excuse alleviates any tension she is feeling. For her it's relief like, “oh there’s nothing wrong, things are still the same.” And once she acknowledges and accepts your explanation, you can assume business as usual.

I’m not saying a strategic “pause” in communications is always a bad thing but I feel a lot of guys lose out on many lays because they are to busy playing games instead of just closing the deal.

Seen this a lot back in the day when I was coaching guys. The girl would be hot for them
And the dude would do something stupid and when I ask them why they would say “wanted to play hard to get” “didn’t wanna seem to easy and destroy my value” etc…

If the girl is clearly interested, don’t play games, just close.

Yeah I'm all for closing things out ...most times when chicks start a frame war or play hard to get I don't take bait .Even though I know I can handle such with all the tactics and tools in my toolbox (Thanks to tactic Tuesdays) ,I'd rather move things forward...of course without kissing her ass.

It's funny most guys still follow the "text her three days after approach" rule or feign busy-ness to show scarcity .Seen some chodes "punish" a chick by going radio silent on her expecting her to get back to them...yet the chick wasn't interested in them to begin with lol🤦

Anyway wouldn't want to derail the thread...only to back up what u saying @Warped Mindless; aim for the close, keep the ball rolling.

Yes injury, death, illness works well to seducers you can also use friends, pets and family members.. But better no to try to get into this situation in the first place and losing momentum it takes literally 2 seconds to ping max... Also it will lose power if you do it more than twice pre lay...

I think 3 days to follow up a lead is an outdated technique that used to work when people were not attached to their phones and only used to get messages and calls seldomly.

In today’s reality, it is misplaced.

Totally agree. I feel like a lot of the “timings” that I’ve seen even on the site are a little outdated, especially with young people (ex: wait 1 hr to send icebreaker text, wait 2 days to send ask out text etc.) I’ve tried those timings and interest almost always has dissipated.

I wait like 20 minutes to send an icebreaker text and I havent seen a detriment. I’ve also gotten hangouts and dates right after the icebreaker

I can speak for myself I have repeated many times about texting right away in her presence and about momentum... My guys don't have these issues...

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

Do you think it depends on the context and calibrate accordingly?

Cos I think in a college campus it's retarded to wait for 2 hrs since she knows you're not doing anything or in night-game you make her feel special by hitting her up right away when you had met so many other chics.

But in day-game you "happened" to meet her while you were otw somewhere and you were focused on your purpose and she was a sweet distraction for a short time?

I personally like it right away to keep momentum and avoid social media, my social media sucks...
