After the event ended, she said she hoped to see me again at a salsa class...I suggested we do some salsa that night itself. She said where, I mentioned some outdoor place, and then she said she has to wake up early tomorrow. I thought it could have been a way to then ask her back to my place

Was there real flirting/sexual tension between the two of you, or were you just enjoying dancing together? Because there's a big difference when it comes to salsa. It's a very sensual dance style, but that doesn't mean every girl you dance with will want to go home with you.

Next time, just suggest grabbing a drink together sometime (at a salsa bar perhaps), and then get her number. That'll tell you whether she's attracted to you or she just enjoys you as a dance partner.

No in this case she refused the bounce the objection of waking up early had to be address, to ask her to go home would not have worked... First you need to convince her to continue hanging out... But in my experience in that situation with waking up early super low odds...you didn't have the lay...

Personally I would get her insta and like send her a salsa reel or something relatable and then get a convo going from there. And then turn that into a salsa date on like a Friday when you know she doesn't have work. But angle it Salsa and drinks type of thing.
