Fellas, those who have experience with this, please help me to understand it so I don't get it wrong...

Intuitively it would seem to make sense for a man to nuance his behavior a little according to where his girl is in her cycle, assuming the aim is maximum establishment of dominance, respect and affection, tentatively something like this at the extremes:

  • Days 7–14 (prior to ovulation): Communication sprinkled liberally with asshole-type banter, teasing at will, sexual jokes etc.
  • Days 21-28 (prior to menstruation): Very tender, loving, protective, reassuring and stable
Obviously all of the above are required to some degree throughout, but I'd imagine it should be adjusted a little to suit the woman's natural biorhythms—or am I barking up the wrong tree?

You probably barking at too many trees if you want to do it with every girl. I regard that when's she fertile, she likes masculine man. and this is true because research has noted that women looks for masculine traits during fertile period.

Good point, I read something about it before, can't recall the book name...

Don't remember the details but it is more complex. "Normal" fertile period for women is say between days 11-16, counting from first day of menstruation (also depends how many days in cycle). The thing is, her emotions also play huge role.

Say she is married to Beta male couple of years and she wants child. Because he is too emotionally "low" for her and the sex is not exciting, perhaps even boring, her fertility time is minimal, say only days 12 to 14, or even less. She has to try for many months before she conceives with Beta male.

On the other hand, say she gets to highly emotional state, for example she meets exciting sexy Alfa one night (or, she can be e.g. raped, or be in war and so on, those are also high emotional states). Things now change, she can get pregnant the same night for the first try. It can be day out of her normal fertility window, say day 5, or day 22. Her emotions are connected to her hormone levels, and her hormones to her fertility (fertilization of egg and implantation of fertilized egg). Her body is "open" to be fertilized, it creates nurturing environment for the sperm, and it accepts the sperm much faster.

Sperm of different males also behaves differently, sperms of Beta are "slower" while Alpha's are faster, it can be probably safe to assume that it is also connected to emotional state - the higher excitement and testosterone levels, the faster and more aggressive the sperms.

Generally speaking, you most likely have those days right under normal condition, but if she gets into highly emotional state things will change...

Edit: the book name is Sperm Wars from R. Baker

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake
