1. The Count Of Monte Cristo

I think this movie has made a new fan out of me. Swashbuckling is swaggy af. I'd have made this more of a series as the pacing started to urk me, but overall fire.

Mentorship/Mentee dynamic was awesome as well!

3. Citizen Kane

more like SIMPIZEN Kane. The acting and framing with the camera goddamn. Storytelling efficency is ridiculous and evocative.

Goddamn these shots are fucking awesome. The scene where his wife and him are growing apart over the course of 16 years...MUAH.

In summary frame frame frame my brothers should be a tale shown to all my validation seeking love blinded LMS Bros.

Without frame you just might be SIMPIZEN Kane.

1. Shame

Don’t watch this movie. Dumb af. Dude starts crying during a threesome. Tired of these damn oscar baiting movies.

It’d be nice to see a man who is happy about pussy, money, and power.

Just watch porn instead of this movie. You’ll feel better and no one cries in the threesome…unless you’re into that…even still brazzers is better

3. Le Trou

THIS SHIT IS FIRE.

people act like black and white is a primitive form of cinema in the mainstream but goddamn even with the language barrier this shit is fire (idk why my anime watching ass is acting like a language barrier bothers me haha)

anyway I really like this movie and the atmosphere/psychological aspects it brings out of you.

Will be a rewatch for awhile and be one of the movies in my book I use with artsy hipster chicks who want to act obscure due to their tastes.

“Hey baby I’m different I watched a french grimm that may or may not be discussing class differences while also being a solid character focused prison escape…also it’s in french so I’m smart af. Let’s just skip the LMR.”

Overall out of all of these…Chainsaw Man Season 1 gets the trophie

High Noon is such an interesting movie. Some call it a classic, some call it tripe. There are probably better westerns, but it's definitely unique.

The premise of being doomed is really interesting. It reminds me of 'Tombstone', a pop classic, where Wyatt Earp says about his duel with Johnny Ringo: "I can't beat him, can I?" And Doc Holliday mutedly responds no, the bad guy is the better gunfighter and you will lose (Wyatt goes to the duel anyways). Fatalism at its finest.

I think that's kind of why High Noon almost works, or works maybe for one viewing. That and the damn score.

I saw it with my parents and thought "hey tis is pretty nice...generic but nice". I could do better if I wrote it but it is acceptable."

3. Devotion

Saw this with my family. Man I was really really hoping they'd call him a n-bombs with the hard r , but for a movie set during the 50s they were oddly very accepting of a black pilot...I was looking for the racism though or virtue signaling...got none of it which left me unoutraged and bored.

4. Dangerous Liaisons

Really good period piece with some top notch acting and unbelievably hot concepts and frames.

I recommend it highly.

5. Crazy, Stupid, Love

There are some hot women but I am disappointed by the rom com-esque ending and wish that we had a main character with a lot more backbone, frame, and power.

Watching him learn to pickup really hit though imo I think Steve Carell might be more of a threat than Ryan Gosimp if we're talking game and influence...could tell as he was losing his comedian persona this man fucking slays

6. 9½ Weeks

a fascinating exploration of kink, frames, and the contrast from her time with thew seducer vs her time in her everday is really hot and inspirational.

Wouldn't fly nowadays but that's why this movie rocks. Honest performance, good frames, nice contrast.

7. Twilight Zone episode: The Gift

awesome shiz really cleared my head of everything going on and is like a bad ending of high noon where society crumbles as it kills the great man and the prospects that is held within their greatness, but

society doesn't end...the saddest part is it stays crumbled longer than it ever had to.

Rodger Dodger: PUA'S Warrior Smile

Decided to watch Rodger Dodger...

backstory I had a horrible infield yesterday...No not AA. I'm better than that. But not better than being bad after the AA

This was not a good movie to watch in the morning after work before I get ready to go infield.

Feel like I just had a failed outing all over again. where are my tacos

Too relateable, I feel absolutely uninspired, reminded of the grind, and yet also totally ready to kick butt, entertained, and spoken too.

I will literally never watch this movie again. Too many L's, too relateable, awesome movie for those who have done this shit.

To be fair, I don't think Roger Dodger is an L movie. Both the honeys were totally open to both guys. The problem is Nick ruined the SNL with his constant monogamy vibes and love frames and deep family talk.

So eventually Roger snapped and went back to his jaded self (that we saw in the beginning when he did all these brutal cold reads lol) and blew up the set.

But even in the beginning with the two girls he's cold reading at the bar, he's not failing... he's just jaded as fuck and can't be assed to talk to them normal so he basically insults them for his own amusement.

I can relate a bit to this jaded feeling, from too many girls fucked, it's kinda like "you want me to talk to you for 4 hours and pretend you're interesting just so we can hook up when really you wanted that all along too? Fuck off."

I had it for quite a while but I'm glad I'm over it.

The only real L is his relationship with his boss. Just like in the movie Alfie (the newer version), he gets hung up on an older woman because he's not spinning enough plates and gets dumped by her.

tbf as noted in my initial review I am jaded by my FU yesterday haha

The emotional rollercoaster of game loves me game loves me not is strong in this one.

But put in this perspective this movie actually is a great PUA film of different stages, frames, conversation leading.

You see the funny thing is I sorta see myself in between but definitely more in the kid than the jaded vet...who might be looking towards a brighter future at the end.

In movie reviews first reranking I'll give this a

Best PUA coming of age story/10

and a bonus award for all the game wisdom you can pull from it.
