Check out some of the videos i posted on the forum, they are packed with very good examples of successful seductions and excellent non verbals.

I don't know if any of you watch the excellent Aussie prison drama Wentworth but there's a storyline in that where a lesbian prisoner seduces the straight prison governor.

She does so using classic game she could almost have learned from this site:

So while his style may not be in everyones tastes.. you can't deny that Russell Brand just has "something" which works for him.

Like his style of game or not... if you ever think you have trouble keeping a conversation going... just look at this.. the guy lives in his own world:

Thanks for all the great scenes friends. Lets keep this going.

Also, I agree about Russell brand. At 4:27 in the video below he drops the act out of the blue, delivers a compliment perfectly, then picks it right back up again without a hitch.

When I was watching this on tv it stuck with me. You can tell he was sincere, he wasnt looking at the camera or the crowd. A true natural. The entire time his eyes were locked on Conans, checking for nuances in his reaction. Just look at Conans expression. Hes stunned for a second and then cant contain his smile.

I just re-watched Unfaithful the other day, about a married woman who is seduced by a young man and begins an obsessive affair with him.

It's a very good film, but the first time I watched it was before I had encountered this site. Watching it this time (the seduction process and the woman's reaction to it) was like watching an eerie visualisation of all the techniques advised on GC, including commanding, investment, manhandling, dealing with resistance, not trying too hard/not showing off, being approachable, dealing with curveballs, having an air of glamour and a cool apartment combined with a very vague job description.

If you ever ask yourself things along the lines of "how can I get sex without chasing?" or "how can I keep my cool while being highly sexual?"this film is a very good way to visualise it.

Ironically in this film the hapless husband is played by Richard Gere, but 10 or so years earlier he himself played a skilled seducer (and evil cop) in the film Internal Affairs.

Even though the girl leaves, Ryan Gosling suave is outstanding in this scene:

Excellent example of how to handle rejection. Not caring doesn't even faze him at all. Good find Big Daddy

We might also consider:

Michael Caine in the original 1970s film of Get Carter.

and, to go in a slightly different direction, Jake Gylenhall's character in the first half of Love and Other Drugs. particularly the opening minutes (can't find it on You Tube)

For me, this one is in a class of its own:

Rosamund Pike in Die Another Day

The (very few) serious relationships I've had have all been with sweet, kind, pretty, gracious, faithful, caring girls who are bewildered and exasperated when I eventually leave them... little do they understand that what I really, truly desire deep down is a frosty-cold Arctic ice-queen bitch.

The way Brosnan plows through Pike's half-assed objection has to be one of 007's best one-liners:

  • Frost: This is crazy... you're a double-0...

    Bond: It's only a number ;)

Do you guys agree that the movie "Hitch" has plenty of bad information? Anyways, girls in the movie are very active during conversation and the way they answer questions are very smart too unlike their real life counterparts.

BTW, I'm digging the episodes in the first link given by BlackIrish33 and the girl is cute too.

Hitch was the film that made me realize you could learn seduction. It has some good bits of information and I remember I liked the way he managed to talk to the beautiful black girl (Paula Patton I think). But it's still a movie and all movies are scripted and idealized.

By the way, is there anybody here who might've seen the great 1943 movie "Heaven Can Wait" by Ernst Lubitsch? Apart from being very funny, and although a few aspects of the social dynamics of the era it depicts might have changed somewhat, I think it has wonderful examples of what a classy gentleman should be and how one should behave toward girls, people, life in general. It also illustrates the difference between the roles of provider and lover, the latter being of course the one for whom the gal falls.
I find that a lot of older movies contain valuable examples for those looking for actors to emulate, and this film was very good in this regard I think (there's also another similar Lubitsch film, "Cluny Brown"). You really should watch them.
