First Entry
So I am in my last year of college but in my second year I was still with my girlfriend. There was this other girl on the floor and lets call her Red. Red was in a long distance relationship but She would constantly flirt with me and we would hang out and she was good friends with my ex. A bunch of us on the floor would hang out for a good portion of that year. My ex started getting jealous and cut her out and tried to get me to cut her out too. She would always ask me to hang out and do stuff and once she even asked to see my apartment, but I declined. About a month and half ago, I broke up with my girlfriend. Fast Forward to about 2 weeks ago. I found out she spent a semester abroad in Japan and I assumed she was coming back soon. So, I sent her a message asking her when she would come back to University. She said she would be back in a week, and I stayed extremely flirty over text. She would reply extremely fast and sometimes double text me while I took longer. She said she would give me a tour of her apartment and wanted to see mine. I asked her to hangout on Saturday telling her we could chill while I get that tour and catch up and then get food. So I meet with her at her building. She quickly shows me the apartment while telling her roommate she was showing an old friend the room. She showed me briefly and asked where we were going. We went for a walk in the rain and we both talked about how we had ended our relationships and that we were both not looking for a relationship and wanting to be single. I asked her about her travels and kept the conversations focused on her with the occasional tease or banter which was easier due to our shared history. I led her to a restaurant where we continued to talk but damn restaurant dates are boring and not conducive to touch. We talked more and she mentioned how we should get our friend group back together and she again called me a friend. But, she had always been flirty and I maintained eye contact the whole time with her looking down, and I would tease her. I tried to get investment by having her give me her hand to ask about a ring she had. I would ask her to hold the umbrella when we left the restaurant. I kept giving her small commands like move here and move the umbrella to the left. While we were walking I would walk so close that we were touching, and I would steer her using her elbow when we made a turn. We got Ice cream and I played a game where I made her choose my flavors where I wouldnt be looking. She was nervous and was like what if you hate me I choose the wrong flavor and we wont hang out again. I told her she better do a good job then. Then afterwards, I teased her about the Ice cream and bantered for a bit. She asked to see my apartment and we started walking there. She told me how all the Japanese guys were way too accommodating and too nice and that she likes that I am not like that and how she likes a challenge. We got to my apartment went in and I told her to take her shoes off. She did and then walked in. I gave her a quick tour and had her feel my soft sheets. Then I sat down and told her to sit down next to me. Without wasting any time I put my arm around her and we talked. I scooted right next to her and made strong eye contact. I hesistated for maybe a couple seconds and grabbed her hand with the ring with the next move to look up at her and kiss her. The second I grabbed her hand she said I should get going and that her roomates would be worried. I said yeah if you want to or you can chill for a bit. She was like no I should go. It was only 9:30 and I should have persisted, but I was also like maybe she did think we went as friends, so I was like yeah ok and I walked her out. I sent a text later that I had fun and she replied that she did also and I havent replied. I realize that I totally messed this up by not persisting which I should have done.
