And apparently she doesn't understand the implicit (and even explicit) message that I don't want to waste my time chatting with her on the phone. So how can I make her understand this simple fact without breaking up the relationship and creating an awkward situation the next time we meet?

But what is she to you? Why do you care things not being awkward next time you meet?
Why would you meet her again?

You say you don’t care but worry about things being awkward, that’s a contradiction.

She doesn't mean much, she's just a fling. But one that I'll certainly lose if it becomes awkward (because I don't want to waste my time answering her bullshit). So you have to be subtle.

And even if I lose this one, I'd be interested in knowing how to handle this kind of situation without making a girl angry over time (because frankly I have no idea).

You should be able to tell her for example.... "During the day I turn off my phone so I don't receive calls and texts during the workday. I'd rather talk in person than on the phone. "

If she doesn't get responses to her calls and texts THEN after telling her, she should get the message.

@Fuck This Yeah, that should work with a girl in her right mind, although she'd probably expect answers later in the evening if she CAN'T read between the lines! This one, I told her literally "I'll tell you everything when we meet again I'm not really a fan of texting" and she apparently doesn't understand. Or is this some kind of lame frame control attempt on her side?
