or closer to calls?
or in america no one uses whatsapp?

Voice messages are somewhere in between dude. It's a voice text. Short an simple an the equivalent of a text but ya voice is there for tone.

Personally a flat out refuse to leave a voice mail. They have the notification that a called so they can contact me. Simple. It's more powerful, less needy, an confident they will get back in touch.

If ya do decide to leave a message never ever ever say call me back or get in touch when ya get this!!! Just ma thoughts on it but if they want or need to they would...

Being in my 40's I still deal with women who grew up calling and leaving messages.

It is a good chance to show my poise and speaking quality. Seriously...I've had women compliment me on my phone voice. I'm the voice of our company voice mail (I'm the voice MALE)

I won't leave multiple messages. An d I am Definate and decicive in what I say. Name, Phone number, 3 sentence Message, Name, Number Make an effort to speak slower, and not rush.

When you speak into the microphone on your phone and send it on WhatsApp or whatever, not the ancient voice mail system you use in the US. At this time it's pretty much unheard of anyone uses that in most parts of the world outside America, regardless of the participants' age. I know you Americans have historical reasons for that: You have had working telephone lines before ages. While other regions like Africa entirely skipped that phase of development, they went straight to mobile. Now WhatsApp and whatever.
