Met this gorgeous girl as i was rushing to the train station.

We were in a beautiful spot in the city, so i opened with the usual "can you take a pic of me" opener. She complied, and here more or less the convo that ensued (her in italic):

So i grab her number and go. The whole interaction lasted 1-2 minutes, i wish i had more time.

I suspected there was a bit of attraction, so i thought she just needed some comfort. Thats what i tried to build over text.

After this she wrote "jajajajaja esta bien" as an answer to my "talking goes much better in english". My spanish is not great, but i read this as her sorta giving green light to the soft close. Like as, sounds good, let's talk in english when we meet.

I didnt reply to this, nor did she add anything.

Unfortunately i had no time to make a stronger first impression, so i had to work with what i had. But could this have been salvaged somehow? Or was it dead from the beginning?

I'm not sure why you think it's dead, when she's texting a lot and seems positive overall? just shoot your shot and ask her out, dont beat around the bush too long

Enki when there is language barrier you don't need to do structure texting but more of text to meet type texting again due to language barrier.... So don't worry about soft close in this case you need to be more let's meet texting...

Alright guys, so i see this issue a lot, and trust me i already fucked this up many times so you get to enjoy my failures and you don't have to repeat them..... You meet a foreign girl- (for the sake of argument lets call a foreign girl a girl that does not speak your naturally gaming...

Yeah, maybe i should have added something like, hey im walking around in X area, where you at? This could have forced a definite yes/no answer from her.

Were both fluent in English, so i didnt perceive any barrier in-person. In text i switched to Spanish, as i a) wanted to connect a bit more, and b) wanted to practice. Im told that my Spanish is not bad, although maybe it was a mistake.

I just felt she was overall a bit unconfortable. In this case i thought the text-to-meet would lower my odds.

yea if she is speaks english text to meet lower odds (sorry i missunderstood, i thought she did not speak english).... Your soft close was weak and she changed the subject, which is not good but she was game.... When the girl is traveling or about to leave this works well for the next time, is my go to, always work:
