Chase did a great article on this actually: https://www.girlschase.com/content/every ... -arent-you
And naturally, I asked a girl on an online dating site what I could do to improve attracting girls and one of the things she mentioned is that I'm not her type.
But she is beautiful, had some qualities I liked and had a common interest or two, so naturally I thought she'd fit good criteria in my eyes.
And this more or less happens at nauseum I feel, but there is one common denominator I look for: some degree of looks that Iam attracted to. Physically fit, a beautiful face, etc.
Buuuuut, girls across the spectrum of personalities, hobbies, and all flavors have different attraction levels.
My question is: Am I trying to hit a moving target when it comes to looks?
I would say generally, I have been a well-mannered, nice (curse the word) guy with a lot going for him, but I've been attracting a lot of people who aren't all that attractive physically to me and I desire mainly those girls I can't have.
So perhaps it's the "your not my type" that is causing the rejections whenever I ask out girls I desire. Are there common characteristics I can have that will increase the likelihood she is attracted to me? I feel that is a very innate thing, desire, and ultimately, girls want what they want. Am I really gearing to be somehow unpredictable and a bit of a jerk? But don't I need the traits for that (charming, muscular god, etc.)?
I'm a little lost, it sometimes seems like there is an "it" club of attractive girls, at least in college, who all tend to conglomerate and only go out with the more athletic, more dangerous, more relaxed sort of guys.
EDIT: Maybe it's the youngness in me, but I can't really see myself happy without the said physical attraction, even if I'm "naturally" am the type of girls who aren't like that.
