I've found that almost all my dates which ended in lays were with girls who I picked up from their house. The reason for this is that its a lot more natural to ask her to accompany you to yours (or back to hers) if you're in the same car. Also, you're with her the entire time. That means you can deal with any "LMR" she might have to your pull.
So I've started to intentionally set it up so that we end up in the same car. I do this by scheduling the date as per usual. And on the day its supposed to happen, instead of sending something lame like "are we still on for tonight?". I'll send a text asking her if she'd like me to pick her up. Most girls seem to really appreciate it. Also, this is a good way of gauging her comfort level with you. If she's still "guarded" around you, she probably won't be willing to let you drive her around.
