Pick Up at the Grocery Store

In a perfect world, I would seamlessly combine grocery shopping with pickup. Unfortunately, I struggle to make this happen, as my head isn't in the game compared to when I'm going out strictly to hit on girls. Does anyone here do pick up while shopping that has some tips they could share?

I love grocery store pickup. You can meet all kinds of girls, and it isn't as high pressure once you get used to it.

I think you need some positive reference experiences to make it feel natural in your head. Start with trying grocery store pickup after a normal daygame session outside. You carry the momentum with you, get some positive feedback in. Once you've done that a few times and you're used to the dynamic in the store, you can start doing it also when you're just out shopping.

As for what to do, some pointers:

• Don't go in super direct. Keep things low key. Also coz you don't want the store staff to think you're going there just to pickup girls.
• The usual stuff still work. Look for approach invites and then go in warmly, or comment about something in her shopping bag (situational), or something that she's trying to buy.
• You can also do compliments, but just a quick non-chalant one while passing by as if you just noticed her. If she seems receptive, you stay, else you're already moving along
• If its a small store and gets very crowded, avoid the absolute high traffic hours Its chaotic and the girls get flustered easily then
• Try to find the stores which have more chances of cute girls coming in. Stores near universities or the city center for example

You can just open situationally. It's not as intimidating and easy to do in grocers:

• [check her cart] "Wow, that looks really healthy." (works either of sarcastic or sincere)
• [hold up food item] "Any idea what goes with this?"
• [point at item in her cart] "I see you are also a fan of rhubarb [or whatever]."

Easy to get into light banter from there, then your usual conversation.
