Pickups Across the Counter

I could use some input on how to pick girls up when I am a customer at an establishment, and the girl I’m interested in is the cashier, service rep, bank teller, etc.

By definition, when I meet these girls they are at work. There are often other customers in line behind me so the interaction is usually limited to less than a minute and privacy is lacking.

How do you suggest picking these girls up without embarrassing them in front of other customers or co-workers, or possibly getting them in trouble with their boss?

While she's working with you, do a bit of quick deep diving, then ask her if she would like to continue the conversation later over coffee. If she likes you at all, she'll say yes. From there, just get her number, and you're good to go.
