So, after getting a few recent approaches with a small degree of success under my belt, I've come to the 'juggling reschedules' thing.
Now, every girl I've asked out and who said yes recently has legitimately been busy. Two just moved into town -- one doesn't have a job, and one doesn't have an apartment. The other is a full time student who works 30 hours/week and is coming up on final papers being due.
That said, reschedules seem like they *ought* to be the exception, rather than the rule. The reality seems to be the opposite. Two have declined to pin down dates (though they have both have tried, our schedules just haven't quite been compatible). The third just rescheduled because something came up.
I'm curious about people's rates of numbers:dates, the typical time delay for those which actually happen, methods for preventing flakes, and so on.
Basically...how do I increase my number:date conversion rate, guys? What field-tested methods have you found effective?
