FR Pride comes before the fall...

Soooo my hot streak has sadly come to an end and I'm now 5 lays out of 6 dates in last 4 weeks'. Crazy how much momentum I've built that I'm genuinely disappointed by this lol.

TLDR:

• Tinder 1st date goes okay and I pull a girl back to her place before I get LMR that I don't overcome
• Overdid the date compression and got slow moving BF zoned
• Have got carried away by my last success & broke my own dating rules (this annoyed me the most lol)

On another day this could have gone my way but think it's important to share the lessons for others to avoid:

Summary:

• Hot brunette (obviously) that I matched with on Tinder and who was in the same circle as me in my hometown
• She lives on the other side of the city in East London while I live South West so we agree to meet central/in the middle
• She's a very blunt/ boring texter but she allows me to progress I.E gives her numbers, availability etc. so I get a date in the diary
• The girl is definitely attractive but slightly Jersey shore for my US readers and Love Island for my UK readers. There is overlap in similarities as:
  • Grew up in same area
  • Same music taste
  • Math's teacher - I like teachers as a profession as they're busy enough to understand my schedule but free enough to easily hang out with
  • Can genuinely respect her for how intelligent she is at math's. The girl saw my card for 3 seconds then could accurately read out the long number. SCARY.
  • She volunteered and loved the country that I was born in

• Date goes well but personality wise she's not quite my type. She leans more on the generic party girl side where I'm more strike to seek beauty and understanding of life. If you don't know what I mean I'll be writing a whole big post on archetypes soon.

Now the above is the good bits - below is all the places I messed up lol

• I put myself into boyfriend category by overdoing the date. Because I've been on such a run I started to think I'm "above" rules so I opted for freestyled date compression but did wayyyyyyy to much. E.g. Roof top bar > Driving round the city > Mini-Golf > Back to her place

• BF zone is confirmed when she's like "Take me to [DWW Home Country]" when we're chilling at her place

• The date plan goes to plan but her buying temperature wasn't actually that high. She was an amber "going with the flow" rather than really into it and although I sensed that I thought fuck it I may be able to turn it around

• I should of cut it loose when after the 1st pull attempt "her room was messy" and "maybe next time". Instead I was like "no big deal" blah blah blah and long story short she asked for a lift home and I said only if you welcome me in otherwise no point I'm turning back. She then says yes. But being 100% honest she probably just wanted the free lift back. Having been drinking I think I saw what I wanted to see and didn't realize this was bad "negotiating attraction" territory

• She gives that kind of LMR where she simply doesn't allow herself to get turned on and when it starts she excuses herself to go to the bathroom lol.

• I leave at like 3am and to add salt to injury my boys were out in a bar with a girl to boy ratio of like 2:1 that I missed out on. Sad times. Mad thing is I care more about vibing with the guys then even missing out on a potential lay. ANYWAY.

• She's still responsive over text but can tell it would be an uphill battle so I'm leaving it/ not wasting my time.

Below are some rules that have kept me in a good place when I've followed them. Yes there are exceptions, yes I may miss out on lays by following them but overall they've helped maximize enjoyable lays and ultimately help me get what I want: rotation of local attractive low maintenance girls.

DWW Rules

(These are all my rules for reference and the ones underlined at things relevant to this date)

1. Don't persist after x2 reschedules or pings
2. Get (a lot) of new girls in when your options are low / Be very picky when options are high
3. **Don't bother with girls who live more than 40 minutes away UNLESS she's a holiday/tourist girl
4. **Keep dates simple & stripped back
5. **x2 Drinks on dates max to avoid silly mistakes
6. Date girls you're into - don't just pass time
7. No pings to old girls - they come to you
8. **Success comes 1st - if you aren't 90%+ gym, career, finances wise (cancel the date)

would you have tried sleeping over? i would’ve tried that, to see if things change the following day, only if I had nothing better to do of course.

Same. I'm fine with them in party environments but I've got work to do on dates lol. Looking forward to writing it up. Based on a lot of conversations but will be a bit of a beast so been putting it off.

1) I genuinely had things to do in the morning (and told her early on)

2) Didn't want to "overstay" my welcome then completely kill any attraction that was there

Nope - I just listed all my rules for other people's reference. I'll make it clearer and add in bold the rules that were relevant to this situation.

correct on the rules (your 40 minutes is for me 20 minutes in skills rules, funny i was working on a post on the long distance stuff and texting):

Yeah avoiding dates on sarge nights makes complete sense. Was tempted to cut it short but because she lived so far away it was pretty much now or never as she was too far for me to bother with a day 2. I'm more after regular girls then just one offs despite my recent LR's.

I set up the date when I was still in "many new girls mode" but in hindsight this should of been a girl I flaked on. Is what it is I'll be better next time.
