This is just something I noticed because of my heightened understanding of body language now (thanks, Chase!). My professor asked me a question and I answered him. But when I was done, he kept looking at me and didn't say anything. I got slightly nervous and continued to talk. I realize that he had put the pressure on me to keep talking simply by communicating that he EXPECTED me to keep talking. Need to use this more with girls. And to not fall for this when people use this on me.

Be careful with this though! If you pressure a woman too much using something like this, you may send her into auto-rejection. If a girl is inexperienced, it'll send her into auto-rejection, and for experienced women it will put them in a mood of discomfort. Though, using small amounts of pressure like this do work when you know how to do it.

Personally, I use this gaze, and I find that one of the best methods to apply subtle pressure is to simply play the silence ;)

Too true, it's happened before. But it's nice to bring back a tool to my arsenal that was gathering dust a little.
