Proper use of Preselection

Good afternoon gents ,I need advise there is a girl last year I messed it up with and failed to get due to moving slow,I moved on and upgraded my skills with women now we have a social gathering with her and her team in the college space ,how do I get preselection in that gathering smoothly so I can get her re interested in me ,I need all the advise I can get
