But actually I had no idea what to do at all, what are some good responses and strategies when faced w/ constant sass/light mocking?

I thought of a few options but am not so sure on them:
- you can just double down and exaggerate your original sentence -> she can just sass that even harder, but idk maybe is this better than silence and changing the topic?
- silence and changing the topic [what I did], not sure this is really the strongest response
- some other option? Can counter criticize her playfully but it seems a bit risky, could backfire if it comes out the wrong way ,could sound butthurt
- Some kind of way of pointing out her sass? Also could accidentally sound butthurt if done wrong
