Maybe this isn’t the right board? Here goes:

So like a year ago I got this girls number in boost juice place, I twice asked her to meet me ‘tonight’ and she was busy both times, and actually said in the text, ‘I feel bad to reject you.’ So it seems I’ve made it awkward for her by forcing her to say no to me twice. I texted her a couple times after that, last time she didn’t write back.

So I go into the juice place where she works after not seeing her for 6 months. I am looking down so that she will be making eye contact first, she opens with “Hi N, I haven’t seen you in ages’, I order my drink and don’t say anything, she tries to start up a conversation, ‘Are you just on a break from work?’. We chat for a second and she says ‘Ok I’ll go make the drink’. She is acting either awkward or nervous.

Three girls come in to order, the counter is further forward than where you collect the drinks, she stands at the counter, and while the girls are deciding what to order, she turns around to face me while I am facing almost with my back to her. I look over at her, but she is looking away. So I grab my drink, and as I walk out she says ‘See you later N enjoy the drink’ or something like this, with lots of smiles.

So it just struck me that she seemed to be overly friendly towards me.

So my question is, am I reading this right that she seems interested? Or is this just her trying to make an awkward situation less awkward?

If it's worth testing her out, I still have her number, what’s a good way to open a text convo that can lead to a meet-up without seeming like I’m chasing, since she hasn’t replied to a couple of my texts in the past, can it be done without chasing?
