reading and comprehension

Does any one have tips on improving your reading and comprehension skill? I read a lot of stuff but I can't comprehend what I leant easily .it like as I am feel like I only get a few points out of each paragraph I read and the more I read the more I forget what the article is about. Thanks to everybody for responding

I had the same problem. When you first start reading the articles you just want to take everything in all at once. What I learned is that you have to just take a couple things that you learned that day then apply them until they become second nature. After that then take a few more (three or less), rinse and repeat. Your brain can really only handle 3 or less tasks at a time. the meantime you can still use the simple articles like facial hair and apply them immediately because they don't take up any of your brain's bandwidth if you know what I mean.
