Really confused by latest articles on site

So I went to read the latest articles, and in one Chase talks against spam approaching (great, love it), then talks about how 40 approaches a week (6 a day) should be easy without spamming. Ok, kinda agree, doable.

Then I read the article about pinging... I have absolutely no idea how one could get 40 approaches via pinging. Unless it means 40 pings? But even then, it's hard to see that many pingable sets unless you're walking around for hours looking at them.

Either I am missing something completely obvious to everyone, or I live in a crappy city. But as I go about my day (with the stuff I have to do outside the house) I see a TOTAL of 6 hot chicks. Not 6 chicks which are pingable, that's six total. To see more I'd have to go out of my way to walk around with the intent of "daygaming". And the vast majority of chicks you see are NOT pingable. They're in a hurry to get somewhere, not sitting a bench waiting to be pinged. In best case if you're lucky maybe half of the chicks you see are this easy situation.

What am I Missing?

I like the idea though, I will definetely add it to my arsenal with the ones which are seated or standing and pinging is doable and practical. My only confusion is versus the number of sets. I'm wondering if everyone's city is chock full of pingable hotties, or again, i'm missing something.

I have a similar problem related to abundance mentality. I like girls with massive honkers, and I'll see... maybe a single one that I like every ~eight hours of time spent out and about. Not one that's approachable. Not one that's single. Not one that I can pull. It's one, period. So I spend most of my time "practice gaming" girls that I have no interest in. I don't understand how you're supposed to have an abundance mentality with girls that are fundamentally not abundant.

I don't have that issue. Once I started approaching girls indirect and got really great responses my abundance shot through the roof. I did however walk around for hours and talked to every hot girl. If I was pinging I would have talked to like 20x less chicks and gotten 20x less positive reference points.

I don't need that many approaches in order to maintain the abundance, I see more than enough hotties a week to maintain it just going about my life. But if I had to limit myself to pingable sets, heck no. What am I missing? Do others on here live in a city with a bunch of pingable hotties without having to go out of your way and look for them for hours?

I think you're trouble is that you are taking the strategies outlined in the articles to be hard and fast rules as opposed to suggested training routines and ways to approach. You ping who you can ping, you approach who you can approach. You do it in a manner that is relative to what is circumstantially available, as well as your goals. You learn something new from each approach, and eventually you find a method that suits your style.

There is no right or wrong way to do it. The only reason it is suggested to not spam approach is that you can burn through a venue quick, possibly get negative social proof, and maybe even kicked out if you are two aggressive with it. Also can send you in a negative spiral if you are not sticking the landing on some of your approaches.


Just be aware of your surroundings, get as many approaches in as feels reasonable, and experiment with different methods of opening and hooking.

Pick up is flexible, and also largely improv. So use your instincts

If the idea is "ping whenever possible", that's a great idea. Personally for me the idea of being flexible makes sense, and this is what I am liking personally:

1) Procur AIs, preapproaches when possible

2) Otherwise open anyway, indirect

3) If it really feels like it, open direct

Well I can't speak for @Chase seeing as he is the one who wrote it. But I believe it was saying something more along the lines that pining is a great way to screen for AIs, and is a very socially acceptable way to approach as it gives her an opportunity to signal her interest. That the better you get at pickup the more you can generate those sort of moments by getting better at pinging.

I didn't read it as, this is the best and only way to approach women.

But it's good you are getting out there and approaching and testing all of this for yourself, because that's the best way to developed your skill set, and I am sure how chase intends the information he provides to be used in the first place.
