I found a wingman in my town a while ago, and since we're beginners, I wanted for us to start practicing seriously in 2013. Although we're both asians in Germany, we'll still try our best, or at least I want to, because I just dont want to throw this away and forget about it, since Ive already read so much about it.

Anyway, once we were talking about how we'd structure our sessions and everything, and he suggested doing recordings, like when dancers do it to check their movements. I found it a good idea, since we could always review where the positive and the negative aspects of an approach were, and we could always upload this and have more experienced people check us and help us. I would like your opinion on this though, have you ever tried this, any tips and such?

Hey D3!

I was actually planning a similar experiment with a friend. With the wingman though, I suggest you go it along/stag, and the two of you split up. Unless you are going to like a mall, and you see a cute cashier that you want to distract, I wouldn't bring your friend WITH you when you are doing pick up. He/she can record and you guys can take turns. It's cool taking a friend though because if you blow it, you can just go over to your friend, tell him how it went, and if he's a good friend/listener, he'll make you feel better/up your confidence and then you guys can review the +/- aspects of your approaches then try again.

I myself, among more others who are more experienced like Franco and Chase can help analyze what you are doing and help you improve. Read the blogs, go out and apply what they say, and if you don't understand something still, post the video up and we can have a look for you!

Goodluck!
