So Forum, I need advice!
I have been lurking these forums for about a month and have already seen improvements in my day/night game. But last night's situation was a killer and I need some serious advice in regards to what I "should" have done because I already know what I did do ended me up with nothing, haha.
So yesterday I came back from the gym around 6:20 and my roommate asked me what I was doing for the night. The previous night i went out and drank a lot without much success so I was not in the greatest mood. He said there would be three girls from his job and that he needed some back-up. My roommate already has a gf so essentially I could have any of them with no competition. With these odds I was excited but tempered my expectations and decided I just wanted to hang out and have some fun.
So we get ready and go out. I am looking good and feeling confident as needed for a successful night. I was wearing a purple Guess collared shirt which made my blue eyes pop so I was trying to leverage that in my overall dress. So we get there and of course the first girl who greeted us at the door was a petite 9.5 on my scale which I will name Petite Sexy Girl (PSG) for the purposes of this article (using the scale for reference purposes only). So she greets us and I introduce myself to the group of girls. The other two girls in the group are unattractive but cool people, so I chat them up a bit.
So we hang out at their apartment for about 2 hours drinking and bullshitting about whatever. I deep dive on PSG. She's a runner, plays tennis, she really wants to help the environment, and move back to Boston her hometown. I connected with her on helping others by saying I want to open up my own gym and help people get fit. Overall, she seemed receptive to my conversation and I kept giving her strong EC which she reciprocated. We talked a bit more in her kitchen without any others around. We flirted a bit, and ate a few chips together. Her body language was very open and again, she maintained strong EC throughout our conversation. This was probably my opportunity to get touchy with her for initial kino, but I let the opportunity pass. During this two hour time, another guy that she works with showed up as well. I am assuming he was single, but I didn't see any indication that she was into him so I felt my odds were still good.
We left to go to a bar/dance area. On the walk over PSG talked to the new guy that showed up. I decided to hang in the back and deep dive one of her roommates. We get to the bar and its somewhat packed. We start dancing a bit, but i figured this was probably not an opportune time to get closer to PSG since all of the roomates were present, so I decided to branch off an do my own thing for a bit. I found a nice lounge area with a few girls in talking distance. I decided to deep dive on this somewhat attractive girl and connected with her on a few levels. I got her number and an immediate response to the icebreaker text so that was a win, but the objective was PSG!
I get a text from my roommate that they were leaving and going to a pizza place near the bar (it was about a 30 minutes stead) I don't think PSG was having a good time. She was definitely the leader. So I exit and go meet up with them but I was feeling confident (from the alcohol) so I decided to go back to the bar and try to find that girl I met. For some reason I just wanted to re-direct all of my sexual energy to this new girl and invite her home but I couldn't find her so I retreated back to the pizza place. We all left and went back to the apartment. Everyone was beat and my buzz was fading.
PSG was the first to go to sleep so my time was winding down. I decided to get up and go to the bathroom to think about how I was going to pull this off. After about 5 minutes, I just went to her room and knocked on the door. She was awake but barely, we talked for a bit and I was going to gauge her reaction on me being in her room at all. Based on that reaction I was going to make further advances. The thing was I didn't know how to go further so fishing for emotion I asked:
Me: "Do you mind if I hang out in here for a bit?" (I shouldn't have asked for permission to do anything)
PSG: "You should take that bed in there before someone else does!: (She was referring to the spare bed she gave me and my roommate. She also said this in a playful tone, not in a "get out of my room please" tone.
I kind of retreated after I heard this taking it to mean I didn't build enough sexual attraction over the course of the night. Even if she said "yea I don't mind", I wouldn't have known what to do next! Essentially I was in her room next to her bed, but she was under her covers with just her face showing. This situation was tough! Also, I wasn't sure how I could handle rejection somewhat inside my social circle. I would have been more apt to do it if it wasn't my roommates friend. Another possibility was that I would just ask her out. I know she likes wine so I could have asked her to a winery the following weekend.
Note: I will be seeing her again, as she invited my to a thanksgiving party her and her roommates are having so i could potentially manipulate that situation when the time comes.
