So last week on New Year's, I was eying this tall brunette until I saw that she was clearly out with her boyfriend. I was out with my brother, so we sat down for a drink near her and her friend when all of the sudden she started asking us questions. She was very friendly, so we chatted with her and her friend until they left to talk to some of their other friends. We then talked with her boyfriend (who had been sitting right next to us the whole time we were chatting) just to let him know we were cool and to show that I respected the two of them were together. When I was leaving, I wished her a good evening and she pulled me in for a hug.
A few days later, my brother and I were out again, and I run into her with her boyfriend. She instantly remembers me and is surprised I still remember her name. I say hello to him as well and that's it.
Then last night, I'm out again and I run into her with her friend, and this time I tease her if she remembers my name. She gets it partially correct and we make some small talk. Of course, she's with her boyfriend (and he sees me), so now its just seeming awkward that I keep running into her. On my way out, she asks where I'm heading to next and seems kinda interested. Then at the end of the night, as I'm walking out of a bar, she's coming my direction and says "Hi again" and I jokingly tell her, "Now your just stalking me" as she passes. A good thirty seconds later, her boyfriend passes, way far behind her and her friend.
So my question is, how should I approach this if I keep running into her, especially if I run into her when she's not with her boyfriend? She's nice and could just be friendly given the circumstances, but there could be an opportunity there if her relationship is rocky.
