So today I only talked to three girls, got a number on the first. It felt not platonic but not sexy but I did well on the number close. But I had trouble approaching other girls. Guess it’s just one of those days. I’ll go out tomorrow to make up for it.

But anyway, I met up with a girl whom I had met but didn’t record. That was a good one because of how I opened her. I was just sitting down, enjoying the weather, trying not to stress out. I see her pass close to me and I say “How you doing?” She responded “I’m good and you?” “Enjoying the weather. What’s your name?” “Claudia” “I’m TG” and I extended my hand without getting up. This made her walk over to me. I asked her to sit down if she wasn’t up to anything. I move her after a little bit of talking and she starts talking about how she’s not really close to her father. Anyway, here is the date.

She says that she has to be somewhere at 6:25 and we meet up around 6:05. It’s just terrible. Neither of us can think of anything to say or get past small talk. I eventually get past the barrier and get her talking about her relationship with her dad again. But then she has to leave. The “date” probably lasted five minutes. At least she was sweet. I felt bad for not being able to do more and even the thoughts of this being the second date I’ve had with a girl since last year (which means that I’m actually on a roll) and being able to learn from failure doesn’t console me.

So let’s learn from the failure, shall we? Deep dive faster. I expected to stay in small talk for a little while because we were reuniting but it didn’t work in this case. Be flexible.
Stay cool. The awkward silence flustered me and it was evident.
Let go. Dates go bad and things don’t always work out. Time to move on.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake
