Should you ever contact a girl first after leaving the ball in her court?

Hello Fellas,

So I know Chase says we shouldn't contact a girl first after leaving the ball in her court if she's reluctant to come out. But my story is I meet this girl a few weeks ago.

I tried to get her out twice and she had excuses both times why she couldn't come out. So I left the ball in her court and told her to hit me up when her schedule permitted. She said she would happily do so. Now it's been about four weeks and I haven't heard anything from her.

My take is she either isn't interested, which is more than likely or she's indifferent to the whole thing. I should mention I work with this girl so I do see her at work and say hi and stuff and leave it at that.

Should I hit her up, using the persistence model or just move on? I do like her, I think she's cute. What say you fellas?

If you want to you can, cause whynot. She's clearly not going to contact you herself. Just don't expect the result to change. Cause she's obviously not interested.

You can, I contacted a girl that was clearly getting my snaps over the weekend and just not replying today, told her "if she wasn't interested she could say so but I was damn persistent ", now we may be going to drinks tomorrow we'll see.

I think the more important question is if you're outcome dependant on this particular girl or not (because then you need to go get more numbers/possibles for abundance mentality), I get it I'm still outcome dependent like 75% of the time, but whenever I'm not the odds and results always skew in my favor regardless of breaking principles of GC or not (though as a fellow beginner I try to adhere to Chase and the other ranking members advice as much as possible).

I should mention I work with this girl so I do see her at work and say hi and stuff and leave it at that.

Since you work with her, my advice would be to let it be. If you don't make a big deal out of it and act like you have other things going on, she may warm up in the future at which point you could try again.

Based on what you said, I doubt persisting right now would have the desired effect. Move on for now.
