Hey guys! I’m a bit of a social beginner. I can do small talk alright but I’ve always been the guy to just hang with my few old friends from high school and not bother at all making new friends anywhere else. I’d usually only chat with people in class but never hang out with them outside. Therefore I think my social skills are probably subpar for cold approach, and that since I don’t do social circle or go to to social events at all, I’d be quite bad at cold approach.

Would someone like me then benefit from taking on the Meet Girls Everywhere course by Hector, or should I still just focus on socialising more first?

From the sound of it you'll probably find that you're social skills are fine, or at least on par with your peers, so don't worry about it, that's not to say you couldn't improve.

You're right to focus on how to approach and open girls, get them to buy in to talking to you (the hook), and then getting number/dates etc. A focused course is always going to be the fastest and most efficient way of doing this although it can be done just by getting out there. A course will also help you deal with Approach Anxiety (AA) which can be a massive hurdle for most of us.

Whether you do a course or learn any other way you need to get out there and practice. You need to repeat an activity a quite few times and then reflect on it. Coaches can be an excellent way to do that if you're not sure of things although the key is being critical about yourself in a positive way as it's very easy to become despondent from repeated rejections and knock backs which you will get, just as we all have.

One word of advice through, there are plenty of Youtube type videos out there a few are quite good but an awful lot are full of cowpat. Take a look at other posts and topics on this forum and you'll see the same user names coming up time and time again where they offer really good advice without being condescending. Hector is one of them and there are several others most of whom write for Grilschase so you know their advice is sound unlike a lot of the Youtubers where it's all about getting follows so the advice is more about their ego than about helping you.

(BTW - nothing against Youtube as it has it's place, just remember why people post on there)
