what I should do If I started to like a social circle girl (I have several social circles of course but she is in one of them and quite close there.)
Ok, so we knew each others existence for a while probably. But now through mutual friends our group of people have really started to hang out together. After the 1st hangout (somebod'ys birthday) I messaged her It was great to get to know one another a bit. Probably a beta behaviour messaging like that. Sigh. I messaged in the early morning after party and she was quick to reply with likewise positive comment. We also once hanged out at the party at my apartment later but it was with a group of friends. Then I randomly asked her to a movie screening night but was stupid to propose a very concrete time as she was busy and had show (at the evening, she is an actress). Then we haven't seen each other for a few weeks because I was away. And at last Friday she randomly messaged me with very warm message and asked if I want to join her with some psychedelic trip thing in beginning of July. And wished me well. I replied with a short answer as I was busy at the time. So, now we were at another birthday party again today and she seemed to really enjoy my company and staid longer even though some of her friend left who live in the same street but again I didn't make any moves. I don't know why even, because it was with all our good friends around. Stupid decision I know. Ever since my last breakup I've become a bit approval seeking with persons I like and if it's just someone I see as very casual one-night stand, then I'm aloof enough and outcome independent enough, so everything works.
Anyway, we hanged out until wee hours today with a group of friends but I was all over the place and we didn't get anywhere really with raport building. Had some 1-1 conversation but kinda vague as. I know again my poor judgement. Now I know I'm gonna see her again in a few days when the same group of people will be by the sea/in the woods celebrating midsummer. What should I do? Should I just scratch her off as I was slow to make a move (and I know from the past I always need to be fast to make a move to get anywhere). Or should I just casually try to hook up a that get-together (I know there's again that mutual friends factor around) or should I try to ask her out one day before, so we could possibly go and a date before just 1:1 and see even if she says yes to date. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have time as it's just two days until the trip and we both have shit loud to do before the trip.
So I was slow to make a move. She might have been frustrated even as I didn't. I'm not sure . As from our interaction it was quite obvious that there was attraction between us, So she went home alone again.
What I can do do recover from this? In some strange reason I'm often having a hard time to concentrate on more than one girl at the time. I can quite easily next and move forward but having difficulty to have the mindset of juggling between different stuff.
