What are everyone's thoughts on social media? Regarding facebook, twitter etc. At one point I use to constantly refresh my feeds always feeling like I needed to be up to date, with artificial friendships followers and all that time consuming internet surfing. In your opinions do you think keeping the social media presence to a minimum helps with being a PUA? Also should one friend potential prospects on these sites, or would it be better to keep interactions offline and in person? Share your experiences with social media and how it has worked to your benefit, or how it may have brought nothing but a waste of time to your productivity.

In my experience, if you want to see them more than once it helps to pull them into Facebook, it makes you seem more personal if she can see you are "there" when you are not in touch.

If you just want a quick hookup, don't add them.

But in terms of updates... keep it minimal and don't share a lot.
Most people just can't stand those who update things constantly and just post random quotes and thoughts as if anyone cares.

Maybe you can add something once or twice a week but make it something relevant, like checkin if you are out doing something cool but that's about it.
If you have a few good pictures of yourself it helps if she can see them, she will be looking.
But again, don't constantly post random things.

Even looking at it the other way. I always find it more alluring if I am into a girl but she just adds interesting things now and again. If I know every thought she has and every place she has been in a day it makes me feel a bit "who cares".
If I'm wondering what a girl I like may be up to, it adds some mystery... like if she's not updating it on a Saturday night... is she doing nothing at home? Or is she out having such a great time somewhere that she hasn't even got time to be "checking in" everywhere and posting duckface photos... makes me wonder, make her do the same.
