Hello Everyone. This is my first lay report on the boards and also my first lay in general.
I want to say thank you to Chase, the other blog writers, and everyone else on the forum. You all made the dating stuff way easier than I originally thought it was going to be.
Also, the lay report is not 100% accurate, I don’t remember all the details, just the conversational topics we chatted about and techniques that I used. Anyways, onto the report

Aftermath: We did end up watching some Avatar. The show is great and I can look back fondly on the day with that in mind. It started with setbacks: Feeling awful, Horrible weather, pushed back the start time, last minute preparation. And it ended with, well, you get the idea. Have a good weekend gents.

The Meet:
I’m doing daygame approaches at a university. After a couple solid approaches, I take a break in a nearby coffee shop.
As I walk in, I spot a cute girl sitting in a barrel chair. She's switching between reading and scrolling on her phone.
After I grab my drink, I sit beside her. I contemplate which opener I want to use, then stop myself from overthinking and use my go to
Me: “Hi” (said like Ashton Kutcher in the opening scene of Spread)
Her: “Hi”
Me: “watcha reading” (smiling warmly. I usually forget to smile, so I’m making a effort.)
Her: “xx, its for my major”
Me: “and what major is that, xx perhaps?” (slightly inquisitive tone and cold reading)
Her: “Close, it's xx.”
Me: “I’ve never heard of that major before. And besides, what does xx have to do with your major, unless you know something I don’t” (said in a flirty tone, looking at her through the corner of my eye)
Her: “haha. Well, it's a prerequisite. My major is blah blah blah words words words” (This is good. Shes giving a long answer, which is a good sign she wants the conversation to continue)
Me: “That's really interesting, I didn't know they had majors like those . Do you go to xx university”
Her: “No. I go to community college xx. What do you study?” (this is the first question she asked me, she's probably hooked now)
Me: “I don’t study. I used to study xx”
Her: “What do you do now? Are you an xx?” (She's definitely hooked)
Me: “I’m unemployed” (said nonchalantly. Be the lover, not the provider.)
Her: “Me too” (I think she's qualifying herself on my level or saying that she's fine with that and doesn't want to push me away.)
Then we both laugh, her more than me. I fist bump her. it was pretty clever, I’ll give her credit.
Me: “I like your vibe.”
Her: “Thanks, I’ve been working on it”
Me: “Good job. I’d like to take you for a bite to eat sometime. Would you like that?” (This is the part that always seems to mismatch what I’m saying with my nonverbals. How do I deliver this while being natural and smooth? I feel comfortable, but I know its coming out wrong somehow)
Her: “Yes”
Me: “Great, I’ll shoot you a text. Here” (I pull out my phone and slowly make my way to the contacts app. Then I hand it to her to put in)
Her: “ok” (she puts it in)
Me: “You live on campus?” (I feel like continuing the conversation while she puts her number in is the right call. I don’t want the last thing she remembers to be that. I also screen for her logistics because mine suck. I know what you're thinking, “A virgin with bad logistics trying to cold approach his first lay, not likely.” That's what I thought to)
Her: “Yeah” (At this point, I should've screened if she had roommates, but didn’t)
From then on, we kept chatting about stuff I forgot about. I tried to balance deep diving and banter and stay on a few topics as possible. After a couple minutes, I ejected
Me: “It was nice meeting you, xx”
Her: “Same here. Have a good day”
Fundamentals (I used these throughout the interaction and the date)

Fundamentals (I used these throughout the interaction and the date)
- Posture. I’m sitting with my arms spread on the chairs, arm rest and legs spread on the floor, to take up space. Through the conversation, my head is tilted slightly. IDK, Girlschase said it was attractive. I don’t have the most upright posture, but I want to seem relaxed.
- Eye Contact. I give her a lot of it. I look between her eyes. When I break contact to not look like a serial killer, it's to the side. I break it slowly; no sudden movements.
- Facial Expression. One is intrigue. I know I am the prize and am curious if she's cool too. The other is flirty. Another thing I do is flick up my eyebrows. I chat with a natural frequently and he does it and is more animated. Don’t forget to smile
- Voice. I’ve been working on it for the past two weeks. I focused on being louder and more resonant. Frequently, girls asked me to repeat myself because I was too quiet. I’m guessing that's an attraction killer. Also, while I don’t sound nasally, I could have a much sexier voice. Think berry white or george clooney. My god!

Damn, I have to pull out my phone for this section. I changed the texts, a little, for anonymity’s sake, by running it through ai.
Me: Hey [Her Name], its was awesome meeting you. You’ve got such a great energy. - [My Name] (yes, there was a typo in the icebreaker)
Me: How about we grab a bite this week or next?
Her: That sounds great! Just let me know when works, and we can figure it out. It was really nice meeting you too!
Me: What’s your availability like this week?
Her: Hey, my schedule is pretty slammed with school stuff, but I’m free Thursday evening.
Me: Perfect, that works for me. Let’s plan for Thursday at 7. Maybe we can walk a bit and find a cozy spot to hang out. Does that sound good?
Her: Yeah, that sounds nice!
Me: How about meeting at the café where we met? Does that work for you?
Me: Just checking—we’re still on for tonight, right?
Her: Yes! Sorry about the late reply. Are we meeting there directly?
Me: Yep, I’ll probably grab a drink and chill there. Unless you’ve got a quieter place in mind?
Her: Hey, can we push it back to around 7:30?
Me: Sure thing.
Her: Awesome, see you then!

Date Prep:
I just got off work and felt awful. But I had a date to attend. It took a long time to walk there. The second I opened my umbrella, the wind immediately snapped it in half. Damn. I had to walk in pouring rain that drenched my converse and pants. If I don’t pull this off, it's gonna be a long sucky walk home.
As I get to the coffee shop, I pull out my phone. She texted me. She wants to push back to 7:30. Ok. I’m already early, so the extra time wasn’t gonna kill me in the first place.
I use the extra time to answer questions I’ve had in the back of my head: How do I talk about myself? How should I escalate touch so that when I get to her place, there's no LMR? How do I go for the close, and what if she objects? How do I deal with shit tests?
These are all questions I've held off on researching for until I get on dates. Now I’m on one.
I pull up some GC articles and answer most of my questions. I’m ready

The Date, part 1:
I'm in the middle of rereading a GC article. She walks over and greets me. I very, very quickly delete the tab off my phone and greet her back. Luckily, she didn’t see anything.
We talk about the rain to start off with. I’m starting with a safe topic to break the ice.
She sighs. Me: “Long day?” (using breaking rapport tonality, which has been a hard change to make from the neutral tonality I naturally use)
Her: “yeah. I don’t get a lot of free time. Monday I did this, Tuesday I did that, Blah blah blah, Today is one day off I have this week”
Me: “Good thing you used it to relax and have fun” (I want to frame that this is her best day in a while and that she won't get another chance soon, so she better act now) “What would you do if you had extra free time?” (basic deep diving question, but a lot of college girls just respond with “sleep”)
Her: “Probably what I do now. I really like it” (Normally, I would respond to this by asking what about it she likes, but I don't know much about the field so I try something new I saw in a movie. Basically a guy is sitting with his friend at the park and talks about how easy it is to get women. The friend challenges him to seduce the girl reading and sitting alone. The guy goes up to her, gives a monologue about how it's bizarre that people in a populated city struggle to find real connection, while presenting great fundamentals. Afterwards, he asks her if they can have sex. She says: “Where?”. I adapt the monologue to the seduction. And no, I don't ask for sex yet)
Me: “I think that's really impressive that you're doing what you want. Most people haphazardly choose their life path, and end up doing things they don't enjoy for money or status. Especially here. It's rare to find people with real passion, so I’m glad I met you” (I am trying to qualify her as a passionate person, so it seems like as I get to know her, there are some good qualities she chose correctly to have)
Her: “Thank you” She smiles warmly. “Yeah, I didn’t know I was gonna like this until I learned more about it.”
Me: “I'm not surprised. It's so obscure I think it's up there with underwater basket weaving” I say to lighten the mood from that intense bonding
I also complimentt her on her creativity and say “fuck math”. She agrees
Her: “Yeah hahaha. What did you get for a drink?”
Me:”Oh nothing special. Just tea” I did not in fact get tea. I got boiling hot water in a paper cup because my hands and feet are freezing… But I didn't want to tell her that. She’ll never know
Her:”Which one?”
Me: staying smooth “I just asked them for tea, I dont go here often.”
Her: “I wonder if I should get something, but Im craving xx” a different coffee shop
This is a great opportunity to move her. It’d be weird to go for a walk in the freezing cold, just to walk, when it's cozier inside.
Me:”That's really funny cuz there are three of those right next to my place.”
Her:”Where do you live?”
Me:”xx”
Her:”That's far from here. What were you doing out here when we met?” (good shit test from her, weeding out the bad players from the good ones. I saw it coming a mile away)
Me:”It was my first time there, and I wanted to check out xx landmark”
Her:”Oh cool. I have a coffee addiction at this place. Do you want something?”
Me:”I don't know, never been, what's the good stuff?” (if she gives me recommendations and gets something for me, I get double investment)
Her: Pulls up some random app on her phone. It shows points and a reward system
Me:”damn you really do have an addiction” Teasing her on something she's comfortable with
Her:”Yeah haha. Im gonna get an iced tea.”
Me:”Me too then”
Her:”what size, cuz a large one will be harder to carry”
Me:”Oh you're smart, I'll take the small then” (said like Its the first time I find a girl with forward thinking like hers)
I gesture at us to leave. She pulls out an umbrella, which is perfect, because mine turned into a flip phone the first time I used it.
Me:”Here i'll hold that for you”
Her: going through her order app for a hot minute.
I let the silence build to show I’m comfortable with it. It would be uncalibrated to try to talk to her while she's doing something that requires her focus.
Her:”sorry, I was just ordering”
Me:”No worries, you locked in. 5/5 star barista” She laughed pretty hard at this. I think girls like roleplay flirting where they get to be a character.
At one point in our walk, she talks about a guy that's super nice to her whenever she orders. This isn’t the first time girls talk about guys, or their exes, while we're on set. I just act disinterested, and say poor guy.
We also got really lucky with the timing of the spotlights, and I joke about how this day is special and normally I never get good spotlights.
I use the one umbrella we have to get closer to her. A bit cliche, but it worked and there was no space between us, getting our faces close and passing the touch barrier. I could tell alot of attraction built up when we locked eyes so closely.

The Date, part 2:
We get to xx and after she gets the drinks we sit down.
We end up talking about her the whole time. She tells me about her family, past jobs, and pets. Her favorite show is Avatar: The Last Airbender. More flirting and deep diving. I ask her questions about how she felt and why she chose actions.
She also asks me how old I am.
Me:”how old do you think I am?”
Her:”Oh you're putting me on the spot”
Me:”don't worry, I make every girl ask” (hinting that I have options and am screening her)
Her:”xx”
Me:”Close, im xx”
Her:”Ok perfect cuz I don’t want older guys. They would remind me of my older brother. One time, he had a girlfriend younger than me and it was weird.” (I don't know how I should respond if I was too old. There's definitely a good answer though, I just don't know yet. Sometimes I approach older girls and they say I’m too young for them. Maybe I should say “and I don't date older girls” and then continue like I never heard her.)
She's a cat person, and explains that it's rare for a cat to open up, so when it loves you, you know it loves you. Then I joke by saying dogs are kinda like sluts compared to cats. But we still love dogs. (hinting at liking sluttiness). She laughs. I’m on a roll with the light->deep->light conversation pattern chase talked about in the newbie assignment.
I reach over and rest my hand on hers. “What's this ring, does it have a story?” She then tells me how she picked out all of the rings on her hands.
At some point I ask her if she's away from home, and if she has a roommate. I’m screening for her logistics. She replies saying she loves her roomate, but she's out tonight for a concert. “It's only a 10 minute walk from my place”. huge greenlight in my books.

The Pull:
I was already going to pull, but then the cashier shouts out “closing in 5 minutes”. Now I have an excuse.
Me:”It's pretty early for the night to end even though they're closing. Wanna watch some TV at your place and chill?”
Her:”Yeah”
Me:”We can watch Avatar”
For some reason plausible deniability exists, kinda like how lying by omission exists in a court of law. Girls will rarely say yes to sex, but they will say yes to the ask that will obviously lead to it. I’ve pulled girls a couple times before, and it's always a lame excuse. “Lets get some food” “Come check out my awesome collection” “Lets watch TV in your bed”?. I don’t mind but man… It's funny on paper.
Anyways, we started the walk back to her place.
We talk about halloween. She went to a frat party. I tease her and say “you're one of those girls” in a joking tone And she disqualifies herself as one of those girls. Then she continues her story
I want to try out some game I came up with on the spot.
Me:”How do you feel about being away from home? Any differences?”
Her:”blah blah blah”
Me:”yeah, I get that. It's kinda nice that you don’t have to worry as much anymore.” (its bait because normally in college a lot of people get more worried)
Her:”Huh, What do you mean?”
Me: ”How do I put it?” said in an introspective tone. I pause for a bit to make it seem like I’m thinking. “Well, you know. How you don't have to worry about doing something you wouldn't want your family to see. You can let loose and have fun and do things you've always thought about doing when you were home.” (I hope she's getting the hint).
When we get to her place I use the restroom first. I want her to be ready in case she didn't know it was gonna end at her place. Then I take in the room, and take off my outerwear. My socks are drenched so it's nice to get them off.
I notice some naked art and point it out to bring out a sexual vibe in case I didn't already. It's for her class project.
Then she tells me her laptop is dead so we can’t watch TV. I suggest using my phone. As I crawled onto her raised bed, I pulled her up and into my lap. Then we lock eye contact. I use the bedroom eyes I've been practicing, and the rest is history.
