Now we all know both concepts.
Elite Eye Contact it's pretty clear: Don't make eye contact (direct eye to eye between you and a girl) unless you are going to open. And, preferably, you should do it when she is looking at your eyes first.
Elite Eye Flirting is a concept that, essentially, means being good at using our peripheral vision to know when girls are looking.
Now, I'm pretty damn sure beginners and intermediate guys (advanced guys might not need this because they just are good in other more advanced stuff that they could just go to a girl that didn't even notice them at the club and have a good interaction) on this forum don't do something that is essential to detect -and learn- non-verbal communications of girls.
One spot only
When you go to any kind of venue (any place, really) you should pick a spot and look no other place. This is harder than you think and I'm sure most of you don't do it. Picking a spot and not looking elsewhere draws girls.
Depending on the place you are, you should do whatever makes you look good while staring that spot. If you just stand in a club/bar without moving to the groove of the music it will seem weirder than moving to the it (you are really enjoying the music, having a good time). If there is no music you can be just staring, this comes across as someone in a deep thinking process (not that weird).
So, what is the idea? We just don't move our eyes? Exactly!
How will we spot girls? With your peripheral vision (discussed in Elite Eye Flirting).
But if I just look at one spot how will we scout the location for girls? You wouldn't need to. Girls will come to you.
Are you saying we shouldn't walk? No. You can, but if you do so, just pick a spot in the horizon and start walking. Be clever about this, of course. You don't want to trip over because you didn't see the stairs. Just don't look at girls while walking and try to focus on one spot at the time (horizon, then stairs to go down, horizon, watch out with the glass broken on the floor, horizon, and so on).
Peripheral vision at its best
When you focus long enough on a spot you will really learn to use you peripherals pretty easily. Now, what you will start to see is girls (and guys, not kidding) trying to get your attention so you notice them and break your "trance" state. You will see how obvious girls are when they are trying to catch your attention (They just can't believe you are not looking at them!). You will see them watching over her friend shoulder to see if you are looking, using more gestures to catch your attention, even waving (it has happened to me, of course. It's funny when you start to turn your eyes to them and they just stop doing that, jaja).
You will see a girl you like which you'll be able to catch her looking with a short movement of your eyes. Now, you don't want to catch her, so, you have to move your eyes slowly, so slowly that you still are looking with your peripherals. A good example of this is Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator Looks like you are stone but you shouldn't mind, just do it.
Exercise: Pick a spot and stare at it. Look to the right with your peripherals. Start moving your head to the right as slowly as you can so you can still see with the right peripheral vision. You should be able to recognize what you are seeing with your peripherals.
After that exercise you now know how you can catch without stealing a glance. You just move so slowly that she will see your eyes coming towards hers. This will give her the opportunity to move her eyes if so she decides. If she doesn't she will look eyes with you and will (most likely) look away. Open her now.
Now, you just don't have to wait to her to look at you first. Remember, you will start seeing with your peripherals that a girl is trying to catch your attention and this is definitely more than enough to go and talk to her. I usually don't wait to catch a girl looking at me to go up to her to talk. You just have to remember the idea behind investment: the more she invests, the more she is attached. Trying to catch your attention is a lot of work (you will see what I mean when you are looking with your peripherals) and you will not have a cold reception when you open. You are walking up to her so open direct. Don't hesitate.
As mentioned before, guys will also try to get your attention and this is THE best. They will actually see you like girls, mesmerized by your "trance" state. Some of them will get near you, they will start talking louder and this is your opportunity to start overhearing what they are saying. Now you just can turn your attention towards them. Let them notice you are being drawn to them. Then, use a contextual opener (relative to what you overheard). Don't worry, they were talking out loud so you could hear them. You'll just come as a social guy. They probably can see that girls are looking at you and they are trying to befriend you, jeje. Guy will even open you. You can meet girls thanks to them (friends).
Scouting for girls
Yes, I do it and you should do too. But the idea is this:
• Go to a place and plant yourself.
• Start moving your head Terminator style to scout for a girl you like (you could just look for her without peripheral vision to do it faster but don't make eye contact with her)
• Pick a spot near her and start looking at it: the distance I recommend is the farthest one to the side of her where you can still see with your peripheral vision what she is doing. To find this distance just pick whatever spot, focus on it and concentrate on your peripheral to see if you can see her. If you cant, slowly move your eyes closer and stop when you are able to.
• Don't move your eyes
• Do whatever to enjoy the moment (ie. move slowly/sexy to the beat of the music)
• Wait
• See her trying to catch your attention (how fast this will begin is directly proportionate to your fundamentals and attractiveness. A fact you need to accept if you think you are not good looking)
• Go and talk to her when you think she has invested enough trying to get your attention: remember that if you want to catch her eyes you will have to move your eyes slowly towards hers (always using peripherals, of course) to give her the chance to look away. Rinse and repeat till she doesn't move them and you finally make eye contact.
Final thoughts
I have been doing these many years ago before I found about this forum. I discovered it but I never did anything because I had AA. I thought about writing about this because I'm pretty sure most people don't use eye contact like this. You are just not looking at girls (some might not even be good with elite eye contact) but not noticing the many signs they give.
The best thing is you will learn a lot of what girls do to catch your attention so you will detect them so easily. The time they actually spend to make you notice them it's amazing. Just be sure not to delay your approach because if she thinks you are looking at her (maybe you didn't look but she thought you do) and you take to long to go up to her you might get into auto-rejection.
Girls are looking for value, especially on places where there is lot of male attention (on daygame they usually aren't seeking for value, of course. But this is the reason why daygame is great too. They aren't seeking for value, and being able to stop them and compliment them on how they look is very powerful. They get value and girls always likes that. If you look at them they get the value they needed from you. That's why is important to break eye contact before she does if she catches you looking at her. When you don't look at them, they want it!
This behavior can be seen in the animal kingdom. On animal's mating rituals females try to get the attention of males. Non-alpha males will beg for it, they will be throwing to the females and bounce. Alpha males will not pay attention to females that they don't like. Females will compete for his attention. He will be the choser. Of course, female animals don't have a rational mind, so they act on instinct. The alpha male won't need to win her over with some banter, push pull
They just get to it!
This is Stealth Eye Contact and is the best thing you will learn to give you confidence to approach women.
