Here's something I've been experimenting with lately for when I have a girl over. Leave a couple bobby pins or hair clips lying around in your room. She'll see them and start wondering what it means...

Haha, definetely doing this too although not by intention. Got some booze bottles on the shelf and using ones neck to store all the hair bobbles left over at my place. Definetely gets noticed by girls. They are actually quite handy if you have a girl over and she happens to need some.

I used to use a Victoria's Secret bag to accomplish the same effect.

Some other fun things to keep on hand in your place are a tabletop book like SuperSex by Tracey Cox, or a couple of sex board/card games (these should be a little less conspicuous, but still visible... e.g., stick them on the lower shelf of a glass-topped coffee table, where she'll notice them when she looks down).

All that is stuff you're not going to have on hand if it's just you or your buddies hanging out there. Girls see that stuff and know it means... more girls.

Just a vague or humorous response:

  Me: Oh, that? I do a little cross-dressing on the side.

^ that was always my favorite reply when I used to get this. Or if you're not feeling as witty / would prefer to be very ambiguous:

• Her: What's that? Do you have a girlfriend?
  
  Me: Oh, I don't even know what that's doing here. I should throw it away.
