Outing 3-1-2020
I only did one approach today because it turned into an instant date with this Cambodian model. Well technically, she's American, but her family is from Cambodia. She actually has a 'boyfriend' but he's more like her live-in sugar daddy and he is very controling. He calls her periodically and insists on face-timing to see what she's doing. He has her tell guys that she has a boyfriend so that they wont try talking to her. She was pretty receptive on the approach and I complimented her on all the accessories she was wearing. She's looking for a place to charge her phone so I tell her I know of a coffee shop and we walk toward it. This is when she tells me about her boyfriend and asks if I am gay. I don't think she actually thought I was gay? but more like, she needs to say all her guy friends are gay so that the bf doesn't get jealous. On the way she stops to buy a charger.
We sit across from each other at the cafe, and she tells me about her relationship, I have her show me her accessories and nails and take her hand in mine. Somewhere in the middle we were talking about horror movies and I qualified her that I like that she likes horror movies because most girls don't. I say horror movies are like spicy food because they build up the discomfort and then once you're finished eating spicy food, you cool down by having an ice cream. and with horror movies you cool down by having sex. She agrees and we both sip on our teas to alleviate the tension.
On an unrelated note, she has a taser and she also tells me that she carries a knife. I tease her that the knife probably has a pink handle with a hello kitty on it. She shows me and the handle is indeed pink. Then she goes to the bathroom. When she comes back she asks me if I'm married and if I have kids (um wtf? I'm 25 and she knows this) But she's asking me in a flippant kind of way. Anyways we eventually leave the cafe and she walks with me to trader joes. During that time, her bf called so I waited outside while she talked to him in a store. On the way to TJ I talk about my district in the city and it turns out she's been there, so I mention a dessert place and suggest taking her there sometime. She's down so we determine that email is the best way to keep in touch. I also tell her that my name doubles as a girl's name actually, so she can play it off as a girl if the bf asks. She is calling a lift and decided to get a drink before. So we make a backstory that I'm emailing her pretending to be a stylist and I send her the email. She tells me she'll reply tomorrow morning. She gives me a hug and kisses my cheek. We get really close and I feel a lot of tension, but her mouth isn't positioned properly to kiss her, so I also just kiss her cheek.
This happened last week, and she never did reply to the email. I'll follow up in the morning.
