Talking to a girl on Valentine's Day

So I saw and came up to this girl in the hallways during the passing period on Valentine's Day. I said "Excuse me, I just want to say that I've seen you a couple times and let me say you seemed like a nice, beautiful woman. She laughed and I introduced myself. I told her that we should have lunch so she asked for my number to let me know. I was wondering what I should do. Should I walk her to her next class when I see her because her previous class is right by mine?

Nice job getting number under 5 mins. You've definitely used direct game here so she already knows what you're looking for. Keep it casual just invite her (Text or face to face) for a dinner/lunch and then take her home

So ask her out for lunch instead of her texting me and letting me know because I don't have her number? I was also wondering it was a good idea to walk her to her next class or not?
