Hey guys , in attempt to change my strategy a bit and learn something new, I said to myself "no makeouts, get some numbers instead or try to pull home" . Last night i went to the same bar/club i was out on NYE and met one of the girls i approached that night. She was quite happy to see me and i joined her at the bar. She was with her girl friend (i would say she was an 8 , the girl i approached was 6). I started talking with the girl i originally approached:
ME: What do you like to do in your life when you are not hanging at "name of the bar"
HER: Ohh well , i like to be with my friend *name*, she is my best friend and the only love
ME: That's great, its great when you have someone that you can call best friend , someone that you can always talk to.
HER: Yea ,exactly , and she understands me completely , when i am not in a mood for talking she is not forcing it like some of my other friends do .
ME: Yea i understand that , some people just do not see it when you are not in a good mood
-I have no idea what the hell i was talking here , i guess i was trying to do some "connecting" by saying i understand her. I noticed that she was really connected with her girl friend so i talked to her a bit too when first girl went to toilet.
Her friend
ME: So how was your NYE
HER: It was great , i tossed my phone in the river
ME: Really ?! Here, toss mine too
HER: Laughing.
-I talked to her for about 3-5 minutes , we mostly joked around
Then i asked her one of the "8 questions you must ask her" Chase mentioned in his article. I figured , why not try it
ME: So tell me , What do you think of me so far ?
HER: I known you for just a few minutes , but on first sight you look great
ME: *i forgot what i said here, most likely nothing

The girl i originally approached was back and at that point i had enough of talk so i said:
ME: Hey *insert name* , we should totally get together sometimes for a drink
HER: Smiling, said nothing...
ME: Here , let me grab your number so we can get in touch later this week
HER: Aww, i do not give my number to guys anymore *smiling*
ME: Really ? Even to the guys you really like ?
HER: *smiling again* Yea, plus my friend did not approve of you yet
ME: Ask her, she told me something while you were away
-They talked for a bit
HER: Ok , ill draw it in salt for you *(she was drinking tequila) , so i got her number i guess*
My friend joined us at this point so i told her i was going to some party , she said that they want to come as well. Now i knew this would be a recipe for disaster, and before i could say anything my friend said OK.
Disaster part:
We went to some load ass techno/trance party ,i grabbed her hand and led her through crowd. i could not hear my own thoughts let alone talk to her. I made myself a bit scarce because i can't talk and she did not want to dance
My friend on the other hand is always attending these parties and he went on and talked to her for about an hour , and i noticed she gave him the same body language as with me , so it made me think :
1. Either she is into both of us
2. She friend zoned us both
3. Insert your thought here if there is a 3rd possibility
What do you think ?
It was 5am and we packed to go home, and when we were out my friend asked where she lives , and said "yea we will walk you home"
-Jeez i tried to hint him , either i go home and you go with her alone or the other way around , whats the point of both of us going. But since telling him that would be too obvious i choose to take a walk and make peace with the fact that i botched it up. When we got to her building she said
"i can't take you both upstairs , what would the neighbours say" (did not look like an invitation to any of us but more like validation for herself , i got 2 guys walking me home)
I just facepalmed in my head and said to my friend , let's go home.
And i said to myself and to him
"This will not happen again !!"
A complete botch up , sure i got the number but i don't think its worth anything at this moment , what do you guys think?
The worst thing is , this hurts more then outright rejection , i invested my whole night (which was supposed to be fun) and my confidence went to sh*t after this. I know i must fail to learn , but this was quite a fail.
