Hi, guys. My first post here and english is foreign to me... Anyway, let's go :)

Despite Chase's and other blog & forum posters passion for James Bond type of successful seductors (as well as Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt), I always found James Dean style and personality quite interesting and definitely worth modelling. Nothing outstanding, I guess - he's a sex symbol, embodiment of coolness and a perfect marriage of both confindence and sensitivity that girls longing for.
There are some posts I've found on the net that draw my attention:

http://onecutemuffin.xanga.com/75219233 ... 9s-dreams/
http://www.clay-collins.com/blog/james- ... -language/

I would like to notice, that in these articles we can see a good example of people's projections - what they think is cool and attractive about man, and how they thoughts (surprise) coincide with info on the blog.

Particularly, onecutemuffin, among other traits of women's dream man, vaguely mentions "thoughtful" (it compares with things Chase means when he writes about Deep Dive, Conversational abilities and Strong Silent type, etc.), "attentive" (=warm person), and traits like "dangerous", "nerdy" and "quirky" can be easily compared to Chase's concept of "being edgy".

The other post - on body language - even more shows what I'm talking about. Leaning on stuff while standing and getting horizontal while you sitting - e.g., demonstrating that you are relaxed and in control. And what Clay writes about maintaining eye contact, talking slowly and smiling strategically (clearly not to please anybody), is practically identical with nonverbal fundamentals recomendations on girlschase.com

I'd like to hear your opinions about this stuff. Any comparisons between Dean and Bond are welcomed, despite I'm sure that Bond is more efficient at getting laid ;)

This guy definitely is an interesting character. I found the second link quite interesting to read; I remember always reading at places to sit up straight and have great posture, but I felt like a complete try-hard whenever I tried doing this, and also felt pretty uncomfortable. I always thought I was lacking that good posture because I always got as comfortable as possible, and constantly was in a position to where I was almost laying down. Good to see something that qualifies that as a good trait after being told for so many years to have good posture all the time.

Certainly does sound like the mysterious bad ass that most women go after. There are a lot of men who are successful at seduction, but none really have been repeated as a symbol of seduction as much as James Bond, which is why he is modeled so often. Your english is great for someone who claims it is "foreign", and I welcome you to the boards. I'm sure no one would have difficulty with the ladies if they modeled this guy.

Thanks, RTB. Google Translate saves the day ;)
By the way, I think James in his roles is very good example of creating nervous, spine tension in another people. This also could be a good stuff to learn, along with his comfort and goddamn sexy vibe.
