Chase once compared first impressions to presents. Sometimes you have a wrapping that makes the present look so good you can't wait to open it. That's the kind of first impression you want to give girls about yourself, right?
But he also went on to describe men who would be great catches for women, but flop on their first impressions... I think that's a problem I have.
To be more specific, I think I give them a different impression than what they get once they unwrap me...
It's probably because I have so many interests that I don't really have one clear thing to give them to latch onto that will help define me in an attractive light. Maybe it's a matter of narrowing down the type of girl I'd like to attract, but since I want to explore new types of girls I don't want to screen girls out.
In business, some people get caught up in wanting to sell to EVERYONE and then sell to no one because they don't niche specifically enough. Which if they did niche well enough potential customers would feel like this product is specifically for them and can relate to it.
Is this my problem? Does that translate to dating as well? I'm sure it does.
So how do I improve my wrapping? I do well once they tear it off.
