I am loving the new section! Thanks Chase.

I want to share with you a resource for great health.

http://www.westonaprice.org/

I have been following the advice of Weston A Price (more like the natural wisdom of nature because that is essentially what his teachings are) for years now and have had great health since. Even through long winters I avoid sickness, I have cleared up and healed my acne and scars from it and I have swiftly and easily taken care of any health issues that rise due to a strong immune system and a wealth of information from this site.

A lot of the information here goes against conventional thought,
so please check it out and be mind blown

- J ;)

P.s.

There is a lot on the home page and may be confusing to jump into.

I suggest starting here
http://www.westonaprice.org/basics/prin ... lthy-diets
or

After briefly looking over the site, I'd say I have to approve. Good resource for dispelling popular myths and it has plenty of credible citations from peer reviewed studies.

Definitely an interesting site and I will have to take a closer look when I have the time :) Thanks!

Just wanted to bump this, with JJ's new article. JJ is a man I look up to here on the boards, also this community stands for keeping up a high standard.

This is to encourage a deeper look into nutrition as I have differing views on some of his advice. Here's to healthy debate!

I (personally) didn't agree with much of the diet advice, because I know it doesn't work for me and my goals. But that does not dispel the idea that it may work well for him and others; especially when it comes to something as trivial as a six-pack.

The unfortunate thing with nutrition is that it is much more about belief than science. People always believe something towards their own nutrition, whether something is "good" or "bad". Whenever I look at all these things I tend to not pay any attention to the good or bad, but instead look at it objectively.

And, objectively, his advice works.

I actually started to eat worse lately, I'm talking non stop 24/7 eating anything including ice cream and brownies. Somehow I managed to trim down to levels I could never get when I ate super healthy, granted it may have had to do with other life style changes as well.

Read through some of the stuff briefly but it all looks pretty solid. I just wish it was a little more organized and put together differently.

Also, if you ever want to check out another great health resource, then check our Dr. John Berardi from Precision Nutrition. His stuff his highly recommended by a lot of credible fitness professionals and I have read through one of his texts book a bit and it's some pretty great stuff!
