tupacs killer arrested,did he snitch because of guilt or fame?

keefe d,one of the people responsible for the murder of rapper and actor tupac shakur,has finally been arrested.
what intrigues me is this guy snitched on himslef in multiple interviews.
is this guilt?is this a desire for him to give 2pacs family closure?or was he just looking for his 15 minutes of fame?a book deal and maybe some street cred.

This was such a big deal back in the day the murder on Tupac, weird how time seems to make it less significant. That guy was a hero for a lot of people
