Hello everybody. Today I present an interesting video which may help you to decide your true answers to difficult questions.

Arguments break out about religion constantly. Understanding the belief system of others is pivotal in empathizing with them and creating an understanding. Religion becomes a whole lot less scary of a topic when you don't start to discuss it in labels. Understanding how to talk about religion without things turning into a scuffle with bad feelings is a crazy and powerful tool for conversation.

Rather than avoiding conversation about beliefs with me, people quite often seek it.

Example:

- It can be logical to believe in a God or Gods. It can also be illogical. Logically, someone could find enough theory to where they believe in a God or Gods, without needing to necessarily know of their existence. Illogically, they can claim an absolute knowledge of God without a moment of doubt.

This works in many separate ways for many different beliefs.

In the field of philosophy, absolute knowledge is a broad subject. Most often it is a very long, very strenuous train of not knowing what is or is not true through use of skepticism. Epistemology is a very tricky subject.

What I've learned is that epistemology, or the study of knowledge, is that items of knowledge most often fall under beliefs in the sphere of skeptical epistemology. Beliefs are easy: I believe that when I hit each key on the computer, it will show up on the screen. But do I know that this will happen? The views used to hold that yes, it will, if all the scientific math and arithmetic goes into place. However, concepts of things such as the multiverse are appearing, and all the arithmetic that goes to work in operating a computer may simply not work. Knowledge is inherently illogical, making it very hard to work with. Beliefs are easy to work with. While not 100% certain, we all hold beliefs.

Now that I've gone through some philosophical mumbo jumbo, this is more to share than anything. Just so everyone sees:

DISCLAIMER BEFORE YOU RESPOND

Don't label yourself as one thing or another, please. It opens a whole can of worms. "Hmm.. It seems I'm an agnostic theist!" Great; keep it to yourself. If you have any questions about the topic, feel free to ask.
