Hey rockstar
I'm a university student out west in Calgary and I find that I come across the same issue. Despite being a second student, money is a commodity that only hard work can earn, so currently living on my own isn't a smart option currently. I've come across people who have a very large social circle due to living on Res. The parties are rambunctious and wild..from what I've heard; yet at certain times of the semester, when people have extra time and it isn't exam time. At that point the parties turn down a notch and all the students transform from alcohol charged beasts and into avid, focused students.
I personally do not live on campus, I live at home with my parents. However this has never stopped me socially.. I take transit every morning and that in itself is an opportunity to meet cool people, and an abundance of dazzling females. Whenever I'm on campus, I force myself to meet everyone..girls, guys alike. My social circle has exploded, just after introducing myself to 10 people a day.. The abundance is great
In terms of logistics.. Pulling girls from school is tricky, I live across the city from school so instead of that, I find a secluded area on the third floor (staircase, rooftop) in order to isolate.
Nice to meet you, fellow Canadian. Hope this insight helps..
