I apologize if this has already been asked on this forum, as I sense this is a common question this time of year.

What are your thoughts on Valentine's Day?

When should you celebrate it, if at all?
Should you send gifts to girls you want to sleep with on this day?
How do you meet and pick up women on Valentine's Day?
If you have a girlfriend, should you celebrate it with her? Is this a good idea?
How do you explain to her that you don't believe in Valentine's Day?
How do you avoid celebrating Valentine's Day with a significant other? If you like celebrating, what is the best means to do it?

Finally, why is this day such a big deal to a lot of women, and how do you address that? If she makes it or tries to make it a big deal, is that a giant red flag?

Ozz-

I know you didn't get a response here, but I'll be doing a post on this in a day or two - so you'll have my thoughts on this there.

The long and short of it is, most single women spend Valentine's Day in mourning over their singledom, but a number of them go out the next day and are very open to being taken home that night. Women are looking for very romantic Valentine's Days usually, so I'd suggest avoiding taking girls on dates then at all costs, unless you want to deal with some major boyfriend/husband screening. The next day, though, is a gold mine for meeting new women.
