What Now?

Met a cute girl talked for a bit settled logistics etc etc even got investment by having her hand me a bracelet she put her # in my cell and decided on meeting sometime soon. I text her a day or two later to schedule a meet only to get a "Not sure ill let you know" (This was on what time we should meet) till now haven't gotten a text since, how should I proceed? I got great signals in the opener etc which is now leaving me confused. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Novacane,
it's important to understand is that the women we sarge have things going on that we don't know.

- maybe she has a boyfriend
- maybe she's leaving the country but didn't want to tell you
- maybe she's got herpes and is too embarrassed to date (this happened to me by the way...I didn't have it but my date did.)

In any case we don't why or why she didn't want to meet again. All we do know is how well we can sarge her to get the best possible outcome.

I recommend timebridging/numberclosing as opposed to just getting her number. It's where you schedule the date even BEFORE getting her number. That makes the potential date more solid...much more solid than "meeting sometime soon".

There's plenty of advice on that.

With these I'll generally follow up after a day or so with something akin to, "Hey Carly, trying to get this one nailed down... what are your afternoons looking like? We could do 2:00 PM, or just about whenever really only Thursday or Saturday. Ping me back with when you want to set up our meet."

If she's vague about that one, wait a day or two and call, and get to it right off the bat - "Carly, hey! It's Novacane. Trying to get our brunch all set - what's your schedule like this weekend?" You stand a good chance of catching her off guard enough she'll give you a time, and then you can spend a few minutes making her feel good about agreeing to come meet you (to make her more likely to show up / not flake) and end the call.
