To avoid this, try sending a probe text before hand (like the soft close by Skills or a basic icebreaker text by Chase depending on what point You're at). Only ask about tonight if she is eager and seems open, or you have reason to know she is avilable today; otherwise, ask about the week.

Alternatively, you can give her two days to choose from, but it's hit or miss—if she is unavailable on both days, you start building negative compliance, which, with a cold approach day game number, can spell the end of everything.
