For example if I say- tell me your name, instead of - what's your name?

Or if I say: tell me your schedule, instead of - so when are you free?

Will that gymnastics get me more compliance? Or is that bullshit?

I don't know if it will get you more compliance, but it will get you a bigger attraction boost if she complies with a command vs. a request. Her rejecting a command will also mean you take more of a hit. I will calibrate depending on her current level of compliance with a mind for ramping up.

I sometimes go for a middle ground and phrase it as a command, but end with a question mark. In text, this mimics an upwards inflection of the voice. Imagine like "hand me a napkin?" while you up-nod and point at the napkins vs. simply looking at her and commanding "hand me a napkin". Another option is use an exclamation mark instead, which adds a friendly tone.

It depends on context, sometimes it just doesn't sound normal to say it a certain way. I'd say 'tell me your name' comes across a bit strange.

The main thing imo is to not make it sound like a question, imagine saying 'what's your name' but like a statement, without any question tonality at all, in a low, warm, engaging tone. That's very different to someone chirping "What's your name???!!!".

I also avoid question marks when texting as well, even when it's phrased like a question, works very well for creating a casual/carefree vibe.

In general though, commanding her and telling her to do things is very good for her attraction. You just don't want to do it in an awkward way.
